About
Open to the public, free of charge the Wynwood Walls was established in 2009 by the legendary placemaker and visionary Tony Goldman as an outdoor museum of international street art. Since the first year's program - featuring Kenny Scharf, Futura, Os Gemeos, Swoon, Shepard Fairey, and other renowned innovators in street art, Wynwood Walls has become a phenomenon, spurring the creation of murals throughout the Wynwood district. It is now one of the best venues in the world to see the work of leading street artists. In 2010, the adjacent Wynwood Doors, with 176 feet of roll-up storefront gates was added and most recently the Wynwood Walls Garden, an open green space featuring five murals was included in the space. Each year, a selection of international artists - that range from old school graffiti artists to newer innovators- have created artwork for the Wynwood Walls. In 2012, Wynwood Walls celebrated Art Basel with a series of events dedicated to the vision of Tony Goldman who passed that September. Since that time, the project has been curated by Tony's daughter, Goldman Properties CEO Jessica Goldman Srebnick. Miami's now world renowned open air "museum of the streets" continues to attract visitors from around the world and currently encompasses more than 40 dazzling, cutting-edge murals created by respected street artists from Asia, Europe, Latin America and the United States.

HO-SOME-ART !!!!! Street Art
May 2021
If you like Art (or not) in this place are so many ways of expressions that you have to spend some time wandering around, cafes, museums, shops, restaurants, etc.
The fee for a Wynwood Walls museum is 10$, but you don't need to go inside because all the streets have so much art.
I really have to say that I have hear so much about this place that I was expecting much more, but I think that is because is still a project in process... many lots of land for sale and rent, empty spaces... but you can still have fun and a good time here.
I have a 5 minutes video walking around that you can enjoy in my other channels. Instagram, Facebook, TicToc, Youtube

Used to be free. Now it costs $10. Is worth it. Super impressive graffiti art. Plus, when you get done, Miami Mojito Company is right near by. Best mojitos I've ever had.

The art was beautiful. Thought it was free but there is a $10 entrance fee. Smaller than I expected. The area around Wynwood Walls has a ton of great art to see.

Great district to see art and expression

Drove to Wynwood Walls museum around 9am only to realize that it was not yet open. Didn’t matter because the surrounding blocks are filled with art. It was nice to just walk around without big crowds and see some of it. Great place for some photo ops. However nothing really open in the neighborhood that early.

THE ART EXPERIENCE IN WYNWOOD
Apr 2021 • Couples
We paid for a go cart tour that the tour guide Tom gave a great all around history of the murals along with some knowledge of how the community and artists are keeping the arts within the local schools. He gave such insight and knew alot. There is so much to see from every culture interest and style that every age can relate. Even me at 50. This a must see and amazing restraunts and drinks. Come down a spend at least 4 hours or so.

Beautiful art!

This was an enjoyable excursion in Miami. My daughter and I went on a Tuesday and the crowd was minimal. I wouldn't want to go on a weekend. Once we arrived we were instructed to order our tickets online and show the bar code to the person at the entrance. We paid $21.20 for 2 of us. $10 each plus tax. Well worth it to see the murals up close and to get some great pictures. The area was clean and everyone was wearing a mask. I'm not a fan of masks outdoors but we followed the rules. They have a nice little gift shop. I recommend this on your next trip to Miami!

Frederico was a master tour guide. Taking his tour was the best way to learn about the artists and the history of the neighborhood. He pointed out so many features the artists had assembled.
