I feel very disappointed. Even at the point of crying. I’m Cuban, and have lived in Miami for over 20 years and this has always been the place to go. So upsetting to go to the store what once was your favorite spot and find that the new management is running it into the ground. If you’ve never been before it is not specified that when you reserve that doors open at 9pm but the performance doesn’t start until 11pm. That’s a 2 hour difference that should be told to the customers. I got there at 10:30pm, and the place was almost empty and no music playing, not even recorded. This place used to be good to go dancing, music always playing, even if it was recorded, and was always full. Which tells you the place is dying. The food it’s not good quality and it’s over, over priced, and 18% service charge is added to your bill even in a 2 person table. After the performance started the noise coming from the back bar was unbearable. We couldn’t hear the performer talk, and even after they were told they didn’t care and continued talking very loud and making lots of noise. This were the servers. Overall, a very unpleasant and very disappointing experience…

I came here with my husband to hear some music and really enjoyed myself. Unfortunately the party didn’t get started until around two AM and we had to get up early the next day so we could not stick around but I enjoyed singing my lungs out to songs by Roció Dúrcal and Son by Four, sung by the first performer, before the band Los Tres de Havana came on. The place is expensive ($35/ person for the cheapest tables) and the drinks are not good, but it really is a place to enjoy music and a really fun cultural experience. My husband on the other hand did not like it that much because he was not familiar with a lot of the songs. So, if you’re ok with a very old school, nostalgic Cuban vibe, and don’t mind a super loud salsa band in a tiny bar, and can stay out way past 2 AM, by all means go, otherwise better stick to Ball and Chain or another place where reservations are not required. …

Friday night at 9 pm went for the four Cuban lady singers but left at midnight without having seen them. First Afrocubans showed up with drums and later approx two hours of old music videos. The mixed drinks were bad.

I read with interest all the poor reviews people have left here and I had to laugh...Come on people...this is what it's all about!!! Expensive? YES! Rude? YES! Loud? YES! Attitude? YES! But so is that cuban music, voice and emotion that rips your soul!! The vibe is great and you never know who you are going to run into... from famous cuban and latin artists in exile to others who still live in Cuba and are just hanging out visiting the US. "Today like Yesterday" is no different than our old hang outs Scherezade o El Gato Tuerto in our Havana of the 1970s. Come in and surrender.... enjoy and laugh!! And if you are looking for some antiseptic little nightclub, go to your Hotel Lounge... This is MIAMI!!!!!!…

To feel the raw authentic Cuban experience with amazing singers, must come here. It's about 25 mins from South Beach but it's worth the trip to feel being part of a Cuban community. They have snacks and definitely drinks. Must have reservations and they have a cover charge of $30 or $45. It may be worth it if you are willing to enjoy your night. …
