Was a slow day on the water but did manage a sailfish. Couple of small fish as well. Mark and his crew never stopped trying and lines were in the water the whole time. Had a great experience and can’t wait to do it again.

Mark, the shark in his crew were amazing. He took us out. We had a great day on the water. We caught a huge hammerhead shark. I couldn’t think of a better crew to go back out with thanks Mark will see you soon. White boy Rick.

Husband and I were visiting Miami for our anniversary and booked a trip with Mark. He is very responsive by email and text.
My husband had a great time catching bait fish and a trophy sailfish!!! Thanks Mark for a wonderful memory! Can't wait to go back to Miami for another trip out to sea with you!

Trash captain. Just watched him bully another boater out of a spot.
Wish the dude threw a dive flag down to watch mark lose his mind.

I did a trip with Mark the shark. What a jerk. The guy brought his kids on the boat without telling us. Essentially, we had a boat trip with Mark's family. Moreover, Mark's kids are a nightmare. They jump every where and through trash in the water. I cannot count how many times I heard mark tell his kids, "don't through trash in the water when there are people on the boat." Also, Mark is not a nice guy once he has you.

Unfortunately we had to call the authorities for you to pay your charter bill. Witch you had to pay or they were going to take you to jail. I am very surprised you forgot to mention that in you review?

WORST experience ever. I called him and booked a charter for a male bachelor party. Told him we weren't much into catching sharks, but instead wanted to know if he trolled for sailfish, dolphin & wahoo. He said yes, that was no problem. All of us are big into fishing every weekend on our own boats, Just wanted a nie day out being catered to where we didnt have to do all the work. Then he told me that he would have waters on the boat, we needed to bring our own food and alchohol. And that he would have 2 girls in bikinis serving drinks if we wanted. And I said yes. Morning of the charter we arrived, and the "girls" he had was a 4 year old & 6 year old. Most of the guys have kids, this was supposed to be a weekend away from kids and now we had 2 that hung out with us on the boat the whole time. So it made it awkward for us to drink infront of them and have fun. He pulled up to a bait boat and made us buy our own bait, usually when I go on charters the bait is included with the price. The captain didn't have 1 bottled water on the boat, we brought a pack of small gaterades and the children, first mate & captain drank most of our drinks. He never once tried to push himself as a captain. We drifted, and I again reminded him we didn't car for sharks, he told me "This is a shark fishing boat". While we were fishing he was posting pictures and videos up on his instagram page saying how "great" of a day he was having offshore Miami. We asked to go back in early because we were tired of sitting. We got to the dock and he told us charter was $1200, but we paid $1000 because we mentioned we followed his instagram page. Then we mentioned how on his site he gives discounts to firefighters & police force, having one of each on the boat we pulled out proof, and he DIDNT give a discount at all, and even though we came in at 2:30 instead of the full day, he still charged us for a full day.

My family and I organized a birthday trip to go fishing. We picked Mark after looking at his webiste and trip advisor reviews. BAD CHOICE!
Mark and his crew were very arrogant to us the whole time. He came super late but came back early without any fish (not sure he really tried to be honest). He even took a nap on our time! He used the ocean as his trash the whole time, throwing plastic bottles and cans!
My advise, don't pick him without looking at the Yelp reviews which are much more accurate.

Unfortunately it's called fishing and we cannot guarantee fish all the time.
I am also sorry that you didn't know how to behave on a boat and you left your trash everywhere and it flew over. As for sleeping that would be very hard for me to do when I am driving the boat the whole time...

I would not recommend this service to anyone. Mark is dishonest, and continues to make racist jokes on the trips he provides. Complains about past clients, and we did not catch one fish. In fact did not touch a fishing pole the entire time. Wish I could give negative stars.

We were a group of 15 that booked Mark for two boats. I went back and forth via email with him to confirm a price that he was very strategic about not addressing in writing. We never signed a contract but I provided him with an email instead which stated that I "authorized a charge on the AMEX for the agreed upon price". We went on the boat tour and afterwards I looked at my AMEX and he had charged me double what we had agreed upon. After speaking with Mark over the phone about the issue to correct it, he denied any wrongdoing and said "I know what type of person you are and we will let the credit card company handle it". So I said fine and did the chargeback on AMEX. Then AMEX called me saying that the vendor (Mark) had provided them with a signed contract that proved I agreed to the exact charge. I told them I had signed no contract and to provide me with the copy of the contract. The contract Mark provided was a forged signature. I immediately called AMEX and told them of the forgery and then provided them with all the email exchanges between Mark and I to prove the agreed upon price. I did NOT request a full charge back but, instead, asked AMEX to give me back the overcharged amount. After a 4 month period, AMEX finally was able to return the overcharged amount and Mark kept the CORRECT amount owed to him.
Mark is a pretty crafty person when it comes to his business and judging by the other posts on here, he's had experience trying to rip people off. He does a great job of promoting his business on social media and (as admitted by him) he gets most of his reservations through tourists being sucked in by the pictures but they don't know how much of snake he is with the money.
One example was while we were on the boat, he asked me for $15 in cash to pay for the bait. I just paid the guy over $1500 for the reservation and he asks me for $15 in cash to pay for bait...what? I didn't say anything and I let it slide but after he tried to charge me double it makes complete sense. The guy is a snake plain and simple and he tries to take advantage of people.

First of all I'd like to say, the yelp reviews are far better for this charter. We left about 1 hour later than he said we would
. We paid for a shark trip. We spent about 2 hours trying to catch bonita for bait and ended up going back in. HORRIBLE VALUE. VERY RUDE. DRINKS A LOT AND THROWS WASTE IN THE OCEAN.

Wondering how much a half day fishing trip would cost for 3. We are happy for other groups to join us if that will keep the cost down. Eager to hear from you--we are arriving tomorrow, Jan 17, and will only be there for 2 full days.
