El Credito Cigar Factory is in the heart of Little Havana Miami. It's not done up like a tourist trap. There is a classy cigar room for their Miami and Dominican-made cigars (La Gloria Cubana, etc.) and and backroom where there are several flat-screens with sports, an occupied domino table in play and on my visit, Master Cigarmaker Leo Peraza! (HOW COOL is that!). Every single employee (5) in the shop went out of their way to say hello to me and answer all of my rookie questions. They even looked up the address and fruteria of the best place for maracua (passion fruit juice).
At the end of my visit, I asked to buy only Miami-made cigars and there was a great selection. I even purchased a few of the Maduro Churchills that Mr. Peraza made for an obscenely low $6 each! They turned out to be as awesome smoking as the looked and felt on the outside.
The culture of El Credito can be enjoyed by smokers and non-smokers alike. There are plenty of places inside to sit and enjoy a cigar with friendly hospitable folks.

went into this store, more out of interest than craving (gave up the smokes 4 years ago). Could not resist and buy a "cuban", made in the US. Nice shop, very relaxing, and not greedy owner, he recommended one of the cheaper ones to me. Loved it, and, no, this was a one off, no more...
