The area (not too big - about 4 blocks) is very fancy and elegant. All the top interior and fashion designers have large and awfully expensive shops in the district. Unless you are into design or fashion, it is quite boring and to my opinion - a waste of precious time in Miami.

One of the new neighborhoods in town, the refurbish design district its now an extremely busy area full of overpriced shops and crowded lanes. Some of the buildings are very interesting but the area is not very walking friendly and tends to be very difficult to move around. Parking around there its simply madness and you will probably rely on... More

what a place! clean lines and thoughtful architecture combined with art installations make this place a absolut mustvisit for photographers. chique boutiques on every side, the inner court invites for a stroll in the shade. check out the restrooms upstairs - luxury! a highlight for me!

If you are looking for art the galleries are usually showing on Friday and Saturday nights. We also bought our living room furniture there. There are some neat dining places.

Stores for the rich and famous...ummm that would not be me. Far away, difficult to get cab back to downtown Miami. Stuffy out of touch stores...same stuff as I can buy at an outlet mall only for ten thousand dollars more. I would say a bunch of crap there... And we had a beer at Mochaels. I was so grossed... This district is still being built and new shops are being opened. All shops are designer ones with really high prices and when we were there, no sale promotions were available. District is easy to walk around and it has security not only in the shops but also on the streets. I was not amazed by this attraction but if... More
