Peaceful sunset place to jog or sit and glance out into the ocean

This is a good place to sit on the wooden beach chairs after a day of walking around Miami. It is not as loud and there are people usually jogging around. The sand and the chairs and palm trees give a nice ocean view. Definitely good to kick back your feet and rest. Saturdays there is free yoga at the... More

We stay at the Holiday Inn across the street from Bayside because we enjoy having so many things to do right there while we're in Miami. Bayside is an outdoor waterfront market with retail stores, restaurants, harbor tours, etc. They have live music in the amphitheatre and the mood is always flight and friendly. Stop by and enjoy yourself. I... More

We were staying at the Intercontinental downtown and decided to go over to Bayside Market Place. We walked thru Bayside Park. The evening was warm and it was a very walk. We looked out over the bay and checked out the park view. After eating in Bayside we walked back thru the park and decided to stop and sit along the... More

Love this quiet area by the water. Perfect way for an after meal (especially dinner) walk, very romantic at night. Very well kept, spacious wide road so great for roller blading too. Plenty of benches to sit down. It leads to Bayfront market where there's plenty of food and healthy drinks so perfect for runners too!

Nice beach area. Get there early, shaded areas get taken quickly. Swimming area has a grassy bottom, not sand. Best to bring your own drinks and snacks, concessions don't have much to offer for food or snacks. I

It's a big park along the waterfront. sometimes they have craft tents. Good place to walk your dog. Needs more shade on hot sunny days.

Lovely stretch of beach but somewhat overcrowded on the day we went. What suprised me was how hot the place was and that's saying a lot cause we are from the Caribbean. Walk with lots of sunscreen.
