This venue on Calle Ocho is very friendly. Pablo, the host, goes out his way to share the history of Little Havana to guests. The artwork covering the walls of this bar is beautiful and full of historical significance. The live music was joyful and fun. They serve excellent mojitos.

While walking along the strip in Little Havana, this establishment’s eyecatching artwork, corner location, and open air seating beckoned. We sat outside at a petite bar that opened to the interior. There was plenty of seating around the patio at various tables and a bench, and the bar had five closely situated seats.

The bartender was a lovely young lady who spoke perhaps ten words the entire visit. She silently connected my laptop to the WiFi so I could work online, and seemed to float to and from the small bar as drinks needed refills.

The drinks were good. A bit pricey for my Texas taste, but really well made and fuerte. Standing up to leave sparked that realization of potency.

More than ten snack or appetizer items were listed on the bar menu. The shrimp and mahi mahi options were tempting. Next time I’m in Miami, I will definitely spend a couple of hours enjoying drinks, people-watching, and service at this artistic location.

The music drifts from the inside of Cubaocho and you can’t help but be drawn in as you pass by. It’s so intoxicating that you’ll find yourself dancing the night away. However, if you are not a dancer, there’s still plenty of people watching to do. All ages were on the dance floor. My husband and I and some friends all had a great time here. It was so nice to just see everyone enjoying such great live music. The cocktails were ok, not the best but not bad either. Our server was very attentive and kind. It really was the highlight of our trip to little Havana and I can’t wait to come back again. The band is just superb. This is by far the best place to be in little Havana. Don’t miss it!

If there is a zero star i would’ve selected it. Yes music is nice (normal commercial cuban music for tourists to enjoy) but the service and the treatment was really horrible. After buying two pricey drinks and paid a handsome tip, we wanted to eat, they told us we have to eat outside the place (at the terrace ) which was odd, but we said it’s ok, the menu had not that much to offer so we had some bites and guacamole. Then after completing our bites we wanted to go back inside, which was now not allowed unless we pay a fee of 15 USD per person! (Cover charge ) … first money is not the issue, but this was illogical and somehow a scam,, I thought there was a misunderstanding, so I spoke to the manager who saw us inside and the waiter who was serving us food and they said sorry you have to pay now this additional fee… Anyhow long story short, we went to another place had an amazing super fun, which means we spent more ;) , called an uber and went home. Really bad experience and I don’t wish it to anyone.

I recommend the opposite restaurant and bar “old Havana” friendlier people, original Cuban music, variety of drinks and they have amazing food!!!!

Please don’t waste your time going to greedy places!

And enjoy little Havana but be careful from leech restaurants. Take care

Minimum expectation is honest business, but they do not operate honestly. "Happy hour" pricing sign is in front. We questioned the increased prices on the bill. They said special prices start at 5:00pm, not 4:00pm. Then, when our group buys more drinks after 5:00pm and the charge is totalled, they say happy hour sign only valid on certain days and add an extra charge for use of credit card on a $400 bill. They refused to address the issue. Good mojitos and good music, but since management is not honest with customers, customers should go elsewhere to avoid being ripped off.

We finished at Cuba Ocho after a walking tour with Analise - she told us the history and we learnt all about the beautiful artwork. We had our first cocktail there that afternoon and the band was playing! We loved it so much we returned with friends and had an amazing night - the music is just fantastic and watching those that can, Salsa dance. Loved every moment. Don’t hesitate to go - cocktails and wine is very good too and bar staff extremely obliging and friendly! Loved our visits!

This little yet important museum is a must see in Little Havana. The art is spectacular. The place itself is very interesting as well.
Much of the decor originated from a club owned by Frank Sinatra. Exceptional Cuban music is played by a live band.
The mojitos are yummy. The bar itself is spectacular!

This was an eye catching bar along Calle Ocho. It was open during the day but seems like it would be quite the happening spot in the evening.

The museum portion was quite cool with books, paintings and statues. A Halloween theme with skeletons in various poses was funny. One of the largest rum collections and cigars added to the uniqueness of the place.

Multiple bars to get your drinks, lots of cozy tables to sit back and enjoy the performances. Worth a stop.

I would put minus one but the band and the elderly gentleman dancer were great. First- the bartender treated us like second class citizens. He gave me the bill and when I inquired about happy hour- he said, “No. we don’t have that.” I then showed him the website and it says Happy Hour 4-7 with the specials. He just looked at it and said, “Nope.” Completely rude trying to rip off a tourist. It is a shame bc the place is cool and filled with art work and good music. The tell tale sign was that we were one of 3 other tables. The place next door Ball and Chain was packed. We went there. Awesome bartenders. Very polite. Happy Hour with buy one get one free. Live music all night. And… one of the band members from CubaOcho was hanging out there during his break.

Every square pit of wall and ceiling has beautiful art, its a restaurant. Roberto Ramos brought them from Cuba with books to save the history of Cuba. The food and service are excellent, as well as Covid 19 clean, masks, social distancing.
