Had a wonderful tour today with my family and our guide Tristan! Could not have asked for a better tour guide. Knowledgeable and engaging, friendly and enthusiastic. The tour was wonderful and we will be back to take this tour again!

Due to Covid restrictions in January 2021, this was really a private tour for our group of four. We chose this tour because we wanted a more authentic and cultural tour, highlighting how inhabitants have survived in the Everglades area. Our guide was very knowledgeable and good to answer all of our questions. This was the right tour for us. We saw several alligators sunning themselves, which our guide spotted for us, and watched one very large alligator crawl into the water. This was a far better tour than we have taken in the National Park.

My wife and I were driving through southern Florida and sort of looking for a quick airboat tour that wouldn’t break the bank. (Just so we could say we rode on an airboat.) There were several options all over the place, but most wanted around $30 for a 20 minute ride with no guarantee of seeing wildlife. “The more you pay, the longer you are out, the better chance you have of seeing something” was the common response. We finally stopped at Tigertails in Ochopee. I ran in and asked the clerk how much for a ride. I thought she said $20 for about 40 minutes, so I ran back out and got my wife. When I paid, I was charged $80 for the two of us, so I obviously misheard. However, after taking this ride I would say it was worth the higher price. The experience did indeed last about 40-45 minutes, and the ride was fun! And our guide took us to a small island the company owns and manages and we were able to hold a variety of turtles and a small alligator. He also pointed out several other alligators on the island (all small). We did not see any wildlife during our boat ride, but after he explained that alligators are nocturnal, it made sense that the swampy land seemed deserted. We not only saw wildlife, we got to hold some, which was awesome. Our guide was very friendly and informative and answered all of my wife’s questions (she had many). I would recommend this boat ride over all the others we passed up.

Amazing tour! Our guide Humberto was very knowledgeable and was able to give us very interesting and entertaining information about both the plants and animals in the Everglades. At one point we were shown and even given the opportunity to hold some of the turtles and an alligator they were rehabilitating! It was a very fun experience and I would definitely recommend the two hour tour.
