We really enjoyed this date... This is not a big place but it is beautiful. We really enjoy nature! Also we went the day of the Chili Cook off and had a great time, there was music, an electronic bull, jump houses for the kids, a band, dancing, drinking, food... And of course the chili, different types for you to... More

We love going to the park. It has a lot of beautiful plants and garden walkways. The weekend Farmers Market has fantastic local fruits and vegtables

Took our 4 year old to Pinecrest Gardens for a half day excursion. He loved the park environment and the many trails and pathways all leading to some discovery or other. The petting zoo was a big hit and captivated him for a while. Then we visited the children's water park and Mimi and little William frolicked under and thru... More

A magical botanical wonderland. If you havent hiked through the everglades this will give you a sampling of some of the flora and fauna you may encounter. Very quiet when we went today (tuesday) during the middle of the day. In fact, I think we were the only ones there.

The parrots and other birds are gone but there remain the exotic plants, trees, and flowers surrounding the gardens. I'm sure the sausage trees are still there and you can still have your picture taken with the big sausage fruit in your head. This is a place mostly for people seeking some romantic and serene setting . If you want some... More

Every time I find myself here, I feel like I'm a million miles away. Walking through the garden is amazing. Truly is. Especially if its lightly raining. So nice. Sunday's they have a farmers market! They host events in their amphitheater. Watched a symphony there last year. There's so much to there and the surrounding area. Wonderful community.

This is a very lush tropical garden, as you might expect for a garden in southern Florida. The dense canopy allows you to believe you're not near a major city. There are also water features and ponds everywhere, filled with koi and a few other fishes. Unfortunately, they are no match for the multitudes of mosquitoes. Full disclosure: I came... More

Pinecrest has done a great job maintaining the original Parrot Jungle- aka Jungle Island site. The garden is beautifully maintained and the farmers market on Sunday mornings is a treat.
