This hop on hop off tour wasn’t the best we’ve done in comparison to those in other cities. They didn’t provide a helpful map so that you knew where to go, or where the stops or attractions were in relation to each other. The cost is $49 for adults and we didn’t think the few stops warranted the expense. The stops were supposed to pick up riders on the half hour but we waited longer than that generally. The fashion district was a lovely place to wander, shop and eat, but we were happy to just pass on some of the other stops. At least we have a better idea of what Miami looks like as a whole and will know what and where the main attractions are.

Took this tour during our one day free in Miami after our trip to South America. We hop on and off several times to visit different locations, but overall, the tour guides were not helpful and did not speak clearly. One of the tour guide seems to be drunk/ high on some sort of something and he was constantly leaning over the other passengers. We were disappointed with the tour. This company needs to higher more professional staff and do a better job in training them.

Boat trip saved the day

We use hop on/off as a matter of routine when visiting a new city and usually find it a great experience. In this case we were disappointed with the bus tour as the buses are very old with extremely steep steps. The buses had live commentators and a recorded channel. The live commentators were giving limited information around the route merely pointing out and naming buildings/hotels. We could read these ourselves and wanted more history of the areas we passed through. The recorded channel,was often out of sync with the bus route or progress. The reason for the three stars is the boat trip which was terrific being interesting, scenic and with a great commentary which was informative and amusing. The bus trip alone would have been two star at the very best.

Poor Customer Service

We purchased tickets for the Miami tour. The customer service was horrible. They kept pulling us off one bus and putting us on another. We were told bus services ran until 6pm, but they only ran until 5pm. There solution was for us to pay extraneous for us to take the city bus or uber/lyft..left... why should we pay more money after paying over $200 on something they couldn't deliver.

Deluxe 2 day ticket is a bargain

We bought the deluxe 2 day ticket ($80 a ticket) which includes the usual hop on hop off routes in Miami and a boat cruise in Biscayne bay and an Everglades tour with an airboat ride (saw 4 wild alligators close up and a turtle) and the Gator Boys show. Excellent value for money - particularly with the boat tours included.
Much less stressful and costly than renting a car and driving to the Everglades (which I recommend if you wish to go deeper in to the National Park itself and see the true Everglades).
Just watch out for the 3rd party rip off merchants who sell Big Bus tickets at inflated prices.
Note that the Everglades tour is not actually within the Everglades National Park - it’s a slightly artificial environment consisting of cat tail grass and wide waterways with pretty water lily like spatterdock plants, and pond apple trees fringeing the banks.

Cari, the young woman who attended me with the tickets in Miami (Bayside), was very kind, attentive and covered all the needs I had. The bus trip was excellent with all the history of the points where the bus stopped that was in several languages, the view, the sun and the wind in February were excellent, at least for me who am not a lover of the summer heat.

Something that did happen to me, that I did not know and I am telling you here for those who do not like to investigate or do not have time to do so, is that they can spend the day visiting the different points of the city on the bus, only by presenting the ticket can you get it in which it arrives at the closest stop to where you are, which means that you can be in 10 points of the city in the same day and without paying for different transport, you just have to know the time the first bus leaves and the time that the last one passes to return it to Bayside or the nearest point where it stops

Cari, la joven que me atendió con las entradas en Miami (Bayside), fue muy amable, atenta y cubrió todas las necesidades que tenía. El viaje en bus fue excelente con toda la historia de los puntos donde paró el bus que estaba en varios idiomas, la vista, el sol y el viento en febrero fueron excelentes, al menos para mí que no soy amante del calor del verano.

Algo que si me paso, que no sabia y se los cuento aqui para los que no les gusta investigar o no tienen tiempo para hacerlo, es que pueden pasar el dia recorriendo los diferentes puntos de la ciudad en el bus, solo presentando el billete lo puedes conseguir en el que llega a la parada más cercana a donde te encuentras, lo que significa que puedes estar en 10 puntos de la ciudad en el mismo día y sin pagar diferentes transportes, solo hay que saber la hora de salida del primer autobús y la hora de paso del último para devolverlo a Bayside o al punto más cercano donde este para

Do not buy in advance - no cancellation

Made a booking for a hoilday I was supposed to go on, tested positive for covid before my flight so all my plans had to be cancelled. Big bus tours will not refund !! I would advise everyone to not book in advance, with everything so volatile at the moment its very risky. Buy tickets on the day, or via a agent or with a company that understands the current situation and actually dose allow cancellations.

Also it takes about 3 days to get a generic reply to a email

Awesome night bus tour. This night bus tour has provided the perfect introduction to the city and the best photo opportunities of iconic landmarks from the top deck. I would highly recommend this tour to all Miami 1st visitors.

Awesome night tour miami

Michael R was our host and he did a great job in explaining the city. He is funny and engaged us thought out the tour. He gave insights about each part of the city and also must try restaurants and must see places. I would definitely recommend the night tour and if your host is Michael R then don’t have second thoughts just go for it

Miami Hop On Hop Off Tour

With limited time in Miami we decided to do the hop on hop off bus to see the highlights and best parts of the city. We found the guides knowledgeable however they were often too hard to understand with a very crackly microphone system. Buses are supposed to come every 20 mins but we often found ourselves waiting up to an hour for a bus. For a family of four it was very expensive for what they offer.
