Up Close with Gators

Captain Pete took us on a wonderful, two-hour private tour of the Everglades. We got to see alligators up close, as well as other wildlife. At times, the airboat seemed as if we were flying low over the glades. Capt. Pete was the best!

Fantastic experience

We had 1,5 hour private trip. It was excellent. We saw a lot of gators nd some babies. And it was a lot of birds and fish too.
The airboatdriver was driving both fast and slow and told us about every thing we asked about .
We had a lovely trip and i can highly recommend it.
This was all in the Glades so all the animal we saw was wild.

This tour is amazing! Go in the afternoon!

It started off meeting up at a Shell gas station. All the signs around the station says only 15min parking only. Don't be afraid to park upfront because you'll be leaving shortly to drive a mile down the road. The airboat tour was so fun for the family. Captain Daniel found lots of crocs and wildlife during our tour. We took tons of great pictures. Thanks for our Captain and the staff for making a memorable time in the Everglades. Will highly recommend to my friends and family.

This is a must do! A longer private tour is definitely worth it over the short trip.

Captain Pete brought us back with all our hands and feet! This was our favorite part of our trip to Miami hands down. We booked a two hour private safari and it was worth every penny, my only regret is we didn't spring for the three hour tour!

Captain Pete was great, super friendly and knowledgeable, we learned a lot and experienced the Everglades much more immersively than we did at the national park. We learned how to spot alligators, which paid off when we visited the NP the next day (we would have walked right past an alligator). We saw lots of alligators - females and their babies, males, lots of birds, and even did some fishing (my favorite part)! It was an absolute blast. It went by so fast, that I thought we still had another hour to go, but it was already time to head back in. I will do another airboat tour in a heartbeat the next time we're in town.

Just a note that they meet you at a nearby gas station so you can use the restroom and get any snacks you may want since there are no facilities at the dock.

Great chance to see alligators in the wild & experience the Everglades by airboat

We wanted an airboat experience which was not invasive to the alligators. Captain Daniel was sooo informative & made sure we saw alligators & even a nest! He told us all about the Everglades too. The time flew, it was such fun!!
The meeting place is at a Service Station, which threw us at first & we drove past initially. Apparently lots of people struggle to find it. You meet there & then follow a truck to the location of the airboats, which is close by. Maybe a little more guidance regarding this would be helpful. We were told to meet the person at the main entrance, but didn’t realise it was a Service Station/Gas Station. Great experience though. Would definitely recommend!!

Great Everglades Tour

Captain Daniel gave us a great 1 1/2 hour tour which was perfect. We saw multiple alligators and other wildlife. Great Experience.

We got the hour and a half private tour.
That is perfect.
Understandable explanation also for our limited English knowledge.
We were there at the end of November, no mosquitoes seen.
Sunscreen on the head, shorts on and enjoy.

Big thanks to Captain Daniel. He was a very pleasant and knowledgeable guide. The equipment was in top notch condition and we started/finished right on schedule. Cap'n Daniel showed us many gators of different sizes and ages. He was informative about the animals, habitat and history of the Everglades. Very pleasant experience.

Amazing Everglades airboat tour!

Captain Pete was fantastic! My girlfriend was timid about even going on the tour because she was scared of seeing alligators. Captain Pete eased us into the experience by showing us two-week old baby alligators first. He was very knowledgeable of the area and respectful of the wildlife. Some of the wild animals were his friends! By the time we saw the larger male alligator, my girlfriend felt safe while the 10+ foot alligator swam right up to the side of the boat. This was the best part of my trip to Florida! Thank you Captain Pete!
