This large park is a calm, pretty haven in the bustle of Miami. There are a lot of options to exercise (run, bike, etc.) or to hang out on a bench or a patch of grass and people-watch. There's plenty of space dedicated to tennis and volleyball, as well as a large playground. There are a couple of dog parks as well, although outside of the dog-park, I've heard people get called out for unleashing their dogs.

So big & beautiful. This is my favorite park in Miami. There are multiple dog park areas, courts, workout zones, etc. There’s allot going on here, but in a good way. It’s a great place to read, stretch, jog, people watch, & soak in views.

First come first serve tennis courts in downtown Miami. These two free tennis courts are set nicely in the south end of the park next to Biscayne Bay. They are lit for night play and have plenty of room between the courts so balls don't get mixed up on the other tennis court. The courts are in need of upkeep and could use resurfacing and new nets. The lights are adequate and the courts get busy in the morning, evening and weekends because they are free. For tennis lessons check out nearby Backhand City to reserve a class. They have Private and Group Tennis Lessons for adults including: White Falcon, Terminator, Accelerator and LiveBall classes.

We strolled this park in the daytime and sat on a bench watching the sea activity. Very restful. People were jogging, doing crunches, walking dogs. The fenced dog park is in two sections and looks very good. There's a large fenced playground. There are items of interest such as a couple of very unusual chairs and a catamaran which appears to have run aground some time ago. Lots of shade. A peaceful spot in, but away from the city traffic and busyness. Saw one person sleeping on a bench with luggage - perhaps waiting for ...? I would not venture here after dark.

The best outdoor park in Miami. And the best location of course. The water front park is beyond beautiful. Every imaginable sport and activity is available. Must visit.
