During basketball season you cannot miss visiting the AA Arena for a HEAT game. The "aura" is phenomenal. The pre-game introductions along with the "fire" are the best. You can feel the HEAT !!!

As you all know about the chaos when it comes to parking in Miami, I have found the best thing to do is park in another location in either Brickell or just north of the arena all you have to do is jump on the metro rail and it will drop you off just south of the arena (in front... More

It's a big & well organized arena. The parking and the entrance process are rather smooth considering the great amount of people that circulate there. I was there for concert of the Three Tenors - Pavarotti, Carreras and Placido Domingo about 15 years ago. The acoustics were ok and delivered a good concert, provided that the place doesn't have the... More

Went to the AAA to see a Hillsong United concert. The acoustics is incredible, and the venue is huge, so it's an amazing place to enjoy a concert, and worship Jesus at the same time

Great environment to see a game or event. A lot of concessions stands and friendly staff. It's a little pricey but every sporting event is pricey. Also , great location to visit before and after a game. Many restaurants and bars in the area. Beautiful views of the bay and waterfront.

Re: HELP Madonna Rebel Heart Tour Jan 2016

I was wondering about a couple of AAA policies, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would like to hear about policies from anyone who has been to this venue or from staff members as I repeatedly call and cannot reach anyone.

1) Does anyone know if the NFL clear bag policy is enforced at AAA Miami or is it okay to bring a regular bag/purse that doesn't necessarily have to be clear. Decent size of course, nothing enormous. And does security thoroughly check these bags and take forever holding up the lines or are they pretty cool about it and just do a quick once over?

2) Also for a concert, are non-obtrusive (non-offensive, of course) signs allowed in the arena? Both regular poster signs, and poster signs with LED battery-operated lights? These wouldn't be held up throughout the entire concert naturally, just at intervals when there is appropriate entertainer-fan interaction. We are in the front row of floor seating section at the end stage of a catwalk - so would be able to hold them at mid level while still getting noticed without needing to hold them above your heads and obstruct anyone else's line of vision.

3) Does anyone know if there are barriers that separate the stage from the floor sections and the floor sections from each other? Our section is Floor Section number 5, Row A and it seems to intersect with Floor sections 4 and 6 - which confuses me. I don't want to think that I have been scammed into buying a front row ticket when I've really bought a 20th row ticket that has just been given it's own section for whatever reason - especially if this section is barricaded. Also, if anyone has had floor seats to Rebel Heart - are there guardrails between the stage and the sections or does the double-layered stage act as it's own barrier? It's kind of hard to tell. In most of the videos, it looks like everyone surround the catwalk and heart stage areas are close enough to reach out and grab her if she lets them, which she sometimes does... but this seating chart is different that most of the other concert venues so I'm a little concerned. Please help lol.

As an aside, we went to this same concert in Atlantic City and the security was very easy going and accommodating, which saved a TON of time for us (and everyone else). We were allowed to bring in our own un-regulated bags with no issues and they had no problems with any of our concert signs. I'm hoping AAA is as cool a venue as Boardwalk Hall in regards to these kind of policies and treating their guests as fans and not terrorists. If someone could assure me of this, as I cannot reach the venue directly for their own assurances, I would be forever indebted to you as we are traveling from the NY area just for this event and want everything to go as smoothly as possible by being prepared down to the last detail!
