We did the Fort Lauderdale to Key West tour. A new, comfortable van picked us up early in the morning and drove us to Miami to meet the bus. The bus seemed to be pretty brand new, a double decker with spacious seats that were about as comfortable as any bus seat can be for a long trip. Made several stops at Miami hotels to pick up participants. Pretty standard for anyone that does bus tours with hotel pickup., then off to Key West. One stop in the Northern keys at a McDonalds for people to use the restrooms or to try and grab a quick bite, long lines so hurry. Arrived in Key West at about 11:30 and we’re told to be sure and be back at the bus at 5:30. Guide had touted several tours to do in Key West such as snorkeling, glass bottom boat and hop on hop off trolley. They sold tickets for all upon arrival in Key West. Six hours is plenty of time to spend there. We had already arranged tickets for the trolley so we spent time doing that, had a long late lunch and still had plenty of time left. It was pretty hot out and our guide let people who returned to the parking lot a bit early to get on the bus, out of the heat. Very appreciated. Made for a long day, most of it spent on the bus traveling, but it was nice not having to do the driving and worrying about finding scarce parking in Key West. I highly recommend these folks.

Excellent customer service from Monica at Miami Tour company. We organised a trip to key west . It was a once in a life time experience all the more enjoyable as we had a fantastic tour guide in Angel who was very accommodating and we enjoyed listening to his insights about Miami and the keys.

Angel also took us to the African queen boat in key largo from the Hollywood movie classic which was definitely one of my favourite moments.

My thanks to Michelle for keeping us in the loop when we arrived in Miami. You can’t go wrong with the Miami tour company, I highly recommend them.

We did the tour that went into the bay past celebrity homes and by the commercial port. The tour was fine, and the commentator was excellent in both english and spanish. My only problem was that the tour was advertised for 90 minutes, when in fact it was barely 70 minutes. Maybe they count the time that they load up the boat.

We did the 90 minute boat tour. Found it disorganised queued for ages go get on as they were taking photos and trying to sell you them. Then once on it was really busy. Old boat very cold. Terrible acoustics. Then they tell you to enter the raffle but they don’t tell you it’s another marketing ploy to sell you holidays. It rained and wasn’t very interesting only good thing was the guide he was quite funny and made it a little more interesting. Yes you see a few famous houses and the port big Def not worth the money though.

Dear 936sophiap, I apologize you didn't have a better time. Boarding the boat should have been more organized and I feel bad about the acoustics and the weather. I will contact my partner today and make sure the acoustics are working properly. Again, sorry we let you down. Hope you come back and give us another try. Kind regards, Michelle Moore Owner/Operator Miami Tour Company

This was the worst experience I have ever had, I was sent a confirmation email the day prior filled with false information about the trip saying our bus would be stopping at a Mcdonald's in Key Largo (It didn't stop there it stopped at a McDonalds in Tavernier) and the number on the email to call if we need help isn't open till after 9 am. We were told to be at the pickup location by 7:15, I texted and called every number provided to us to let them know we would be 2 minutes late, we got there at 7:17 and waited in front of the hotel. The diver took a picture of the door supposedly at 7:22 (while we had still been standing there) and then placed a 5-second phone call to me before driving off. We attempted to board another bus that was going to the same location and got kicked off that bus saying we didn't pay for that one, there was no attempt to help us. We booked a Lyft to Key Largo (The Mcdonald's the bus was supposed to stop at), and this cost us an additional $78. When we arrived we got a call from the driver claiming that he left the Mcdonald's in Tavernier 30 minutes prior. We had then been left with the option to either bail on the entire day or take another Lyft to Key West to meet up with the tour. We booked another Lyft costing $230 this time to get to Key West. Upon arriving the driver sent us on a wild goose chase to meet up with him which we finally did. Once we boarded the boat for the snorkeling trip it got even worse. The entire boat got in the water at the snorkeling spot and got stung by over 100 jellyfish, the crew treated the entire tour very poorly with a "suck it up' attitude on the way back. Once we got back to our hotel I emailed this company only to receive a string of emails from the owner saying I'd have to reach out to Expedia and its not their fault at all, I even pointed out the fact that they never had us sign a liability form either. On top of all of this, they claim to be BBB accredited on their website, but they are not.. clearly.

Hello Dillon, we understand it is truly frustrating when your Lyft ride cancels last minute making you late to the pickup location. This is why we provide an after hours number on the confirmation. It's not clear to us why you didn't call that number. Instead, you chose to pay a lot of money chasing the bus all the way to Key West. In 20 years, we never had anyone do this and would never recommend anyone else do this. Your entire experience was frustrating due to the fact you missed the bus. Once again, I am sorry this happened. Yes, we finally asked you to reach out to Expedia because you booked with them and they had your payment.

Buyer beware. No refunds even if there is no place to sit on the tour. Also.when you buy from Miami Tour Compsny you are NOT working with the company who actually gives the tour so they will take NO responsibility.

Your ticket is worthless. The actual operators will make you wait in line to buy a real ticket. If you get off the boat they will just laugh at you because they already got the money.

It is hard to believe operators like this remain in business.

This was a great tour of South Beach, Wynwood Walls, and Calle Ocho. I was contacted the night before to confirm the details of the tour. The bus picked me up at my hotel in South Beach. The driver was Barnabee Bodi who did a great job of navigating and parking the bus in the challenging Miami traffic. Tour guide Hernan Acciarressi did a fantastic job of explaining the history and background of sites along the tour. Both were friendly and personable and did a great job of looking after the safety of people on the tour. Water was provided. The tour was very well organized and began with a walking tour of South Beach including the Versace mansion. Next we went to tour the Wynwood Walls area and concluded the tour in Little Havana with lunch at La Carreta and ice cream at Azucar. The tour lasted four hours and the schedule was just as described. I was dropped off at my hotel. Miami to the Max is a great value. I highly recommend the tour for anyone interested in an overview of the Miami area.

I had booked transport from the Ritz Carlton at South Beach to Orlando Disneyland and the pick up time by the bus was supposed to be 6.00am. We waited for more than an hour, the bus DID NOT SHOW UP and Miami Tour Company not only did not compensate us for additional costs incurred, they even REFUSED A REFUND!

Both my young daughter and I waited from 5.45am for the bus, the road was in full view at all times. The doorman at the Ritz Carlton was with us as well looking out for the bus with us on Lincoln Road.
At 6.10am, I asked the hotel reception to call the number provided. The operator called the bus driver and said the bus would arrive in 10 mins.
At 6.25am, still no sight of the bus. The Ritz Carlton reception called again and was told that the bus was enroute and that we should just wait.
At 6.50am, there was still no sign of the bus. The hotel called again and we were told that THE BUS HAD LEFT WITHOUT US!!!
Both we and the hotel staff were all appalled that this could have happened. The staff at the Ritz Carlton were excellent and was even trying to find a way to get us to where the bus was....wherever that may be, but we were told the bus was already on its way to Orlando – WITHOUT US!
At 7.15am, my husband and the operations manager of the Ritz Carlton spoke to the office for a solution. None was offered except to put us on the 2.30pm bus or the next day because the bus left us behind! This was not an option as my hotel and tickets in Disneyworld were already booked and paid for.
My mobile number was on the order form. Both the operations manager of the hotel and my husband left their numbers for their staff to call us back to resolve this matter. We never received any calls. When I wrote to the company a day after, Michelle replied to say it was the first time she heard of the matter.

As a result of the NO SHOW by Miami Tour Company, we had to incur the cost of US$703.30 by hiring a private car to take us to Disneyworld. We were running on a tight schedule and could not afford to lose the day in Orlando as our tickets and hotels were already paid for.

Miami Tour Company claimed that the bus did arrive and picked up 2 passengers from the hotel. However, conveniently, for that particular day:
- it so happened that the bus did not have the GPS
- the passengers that they claimed to have picked up did not have a date or time stamp.
In short, the company had no evidence that the bus was indeed at my hotel.
On my part, I had several witnesses from Ritz Carlton hotel (I had even provided the names of the relevant staff for verification), that we were at the required location for more than an hour with full view of the road but no bus arrived.

I am stunned that, not only did they not compensate us for the extra costs that we incurred, they even REFUSED A REFUND! I would never have thought that this could happen in the US.

This company has horrible reviews on Yelp. I wish I would have read those first. I booked this tour online. I was encouraged by the positive reviews(on Trip Advisor) and the "bad weather guarantee". I was very excited about the tour because we were going to be in Miami for one day before our cruise. Beforehand I checked the weather in Miami, the forecast called for rain. I called concerned that I would be in a boat in the rain, this did not sound fun to me. I was Told by a very rude women that there is "quote such thing as a rain coat". I was told the tour is only cancelled if there is a hurricane! I do not want to be in a boat in the rain and if it rains they will not let me cancel and give me my money back. I let her know I was really disappointed by this. I was treated horribly by Michelle. This women named Michelle told me she was in charge of customer relations. Having her in charge of speaking to customers in a rude, hostile, argumentative manner is a poor business choice made by this company. I would never have booked this tour if I would have known I would be forced to take it rain or shine so I felt compelled to warn others that is the case. If your idea of a vacation is being in a boat in the rain then book this tour if not I would not.
