The metromover is super convenient to move around the Miami Brickell/Downtown area, it's free and runs all the way to midnight, it also connects to the metro and free-shuttles. However, it could be a little scary with some sketchy passengers very early in the morning or later at night so be aware of your surroundings.

Such a funny little thing and it is free! Takes a while to get to places tough, because it stops in almost every crosscroad. A great way to do a little sightseeing.

The best part of Miami was the Metromover. It is free and travels close to just about anywhere you want to get to. On another note, sometimes homeless riders are there to get out of the heat for awhile, so be prepared for that. With that said, we still felt very safe riding and some cabins also have a police... Amazing free is still a thing in 2016. Enjoy a tour and ride of all Miami while conveniently traveling around the city! Did I mention free!?!

Miami embellishes ones senses. And traveling by the metromover provides an easy way to fully emerge yourself into the endless possibilities of enjoyment. When a car is needed , UBER away...no parkings problems, no valet parking, no limits, except self imposed on indulging.

An excellent way to move after a long day of walking. No charge which was also nice. The frequency of times is also plentiful.

We stayed in downtown Miami. While my husband was doing business I explored. The MetroMover was one block from our hotel. I was able to get EVERYWHERE I needed to go using it. It is clean, safe and runs often. The signage is easy to understand and connects easily with other modes of transportation. It is free and you can... More

Continous loops. Regular schedule. Standing, rapid transit. Limited reach. Escalators to the platform were rarely working

I just recently visited the Miami area and I wasn't expecting any free public transportation. This rail system is a lot like a smaller, slower subway but of course above ground. Clean and efficient, you also get some great views of the city and it basically goes around the entire urban area! I'd recommend trying it if you're in downtown... More

I loved using the Metromover. I used it at Financial District and took it to Bayfront Marketplace. I also used it to go to Goverment center to visit the Miami Art Museum. You will see the amazing tall buildings and new construction. It arrives fast, is air conditioned and free to use. It is not 24 hours, but, it runs... More
