I read about the Bayside Marketplace online where it was declared one of the places you have to see in Miami and I found it quite disappointing. Many cheap shops, very expensive boat rides and absolutely no flair whatsoever. In my opinion not really worth visiting when you are in Miami

The last time we were here was 20 years ago. My how it has grown. You could spend a couple of hours wandering through the shops. Boat rentals and guided tours available. The Marketplace is just across the bridge from the cruise terminal. You can walk there from any of the piers. Pier B, the furthest from the Marketplace, is... More

Lots of cheap trinkets. Lots of grab and run type of shops. If you have ever been on a cruise you have been here. There are a few nicer restaurants but mostly chain stops like any island stop in Caribbean. We did enjoy the ice cream shop.

First time in Miami. Went to Bayside Market. Has it all!!! Bars, scenery, live music, restaurants, cheaper eats in the food market. Lots to see and do. Right on the water. Lots of action going on here.

We had several hours to kill on a flight layover in Miami. Someone suggested we go to Bayside Marketplace. Glad we did! It was a short ride from the airport. The area had tourist-type shops, quaint restaurants on the water and live music.

While walking in downtown we walked through here. It was very crowded, very touristy. I did n''t really "get" why so many people were here. It is nothing special.
