Typical Miami, vibrant, loud and hectic. Couple of interesting shops and few restaurants. The rest of offer nothing special.

A Marketplace (similar to those in Britain) located between Bayfront Park and the American Airlines Arena, in the heart of downtown Miami. On the banks of the Biscayne Bay. Opened almost thirty years ago, in 1987, the place took advantage of the already existing marina. The MetroRail serves the neighbourhood (you can ride on it for free). What to enjoy?... More

Loads of eateries, shops and bars. Nice views of the marina, right on the water. An excellent art gallery. Big bonus: a large, lovely park right there. Fountains, statuary, greens, trees and nice views. Great people watching. Public parking available nearby. Great spot to hang out for an afternoon or evening.

Wide range of all kinds of shops, casual seating areas with view over the bay, huge choice of great eating places from fast-food to decent restaurants, large food court upstairs with steaks to chinese to fish and chips etc.

Happened upon this place by accident, great place a must visit by everyone. Has a lively nightlife that shuts down at midnight. Many little shops, tour info centers, and eateries.

Full of chain restaurants and shops, but a great place to people watch and meander along the water. I didn't go into any of the shops but enjoyed watching the crowds.

Excellent place to entretenerce, for shopping or eating. There are variety of places to eat with a great view to relax. I could buy my gifts of Miami here. Worth going. During the week close early on weekends but extends a little more.

We checked out Bayside to be sure we knew where to board our cruise for the next morning. We browsed the shops and after our cruise the following day we ate at one of the restaurants (see separate review of Mambo Cafe). Some shops are very touristy and the parking was expensive, but the marketplace has a great feel and... More

Really nice place to go when visiting Miami. Nice shops and restaurants. We were there with our Miami Combo tour. You can also take the boat trip to Key Biscayne.
