Very interesting - we did not expect to spend over 2 hours here - but could have spent a few more! Nature talk was good and movies. Vizcaya across the street is a must.

Since I have a membership to my local science museum, I got free admittance to the Miami Science Museum. I am so glad that I didn't pay for this place or I would have been ticked off. I found this place smaller than other museums,...More

First Friday of every month, the museum hosts a laser show in the planetarium. The laser show plays to music such as Pink Floyd, Bob Marley, The Doors...etc. It's a great fun time to watch a laser show in the dark to great music.

I was really excited to go visit the museum, but as soon as you walk in you realize this is for kids...boring kids if that. I fell asleep in the planetarium holding a redbull in my hand, need I say more?

My child is 7 and we recently attended a birthday party at the museum. What a difference 2 years can make! The museum had undergone a complete makeover, turning it's somewhat small exhibition areas into well-used spaces with interactive and highly imaginative exhibits with enough...More
