Great for our 11- and 15-year olds

I agree that it is expensive, but totally worth the visit. Do the guided hands-on feeding inside the rain forest. Extra money, but really worth it.

Let me start by saying yes, this place is very expensive, and if you do not pay the extra fee (also expensive) to feed the monkeys it will not be worth it. I don't mean filling the little buckets with cheap food for the monkeys to pull up and eat out of. I mean the special tour where they walk... More

Lots of primates and wildlife. Can get close to the animals and feed them. If you want to get extra close and play with them/feed them/it'll cost you an extra $90 a person, which I thought was a little steep. But still a good way to spend a morning or afternoon while in the area if you like this kind... More

Loved feeding the little monkeys - they are so sweet and gentle! You'll be tempted to let our a Tarzan yell for sure :)

This is an interesting mini-zoo for monkeys. You get to see many different type of monkeys in a natural setting. There's a lot of great shows, such as the Orangutan and gorilla, as well as monkeys feeding. Be sure to buy monkey food (raisins) in the front.

Our time at the Monkey Jungle was memorable with so much information offered in the presentations. I recommend looking up the presentation cycle of classes to coordinate your arrival with the scheduled speakers. We bought the craisins at the entrance to feed the monkeys, and also had quarters with us to buy seeds from one of the machines on the... More

The first visit left quite an impression. We brought a few more with us this time. We actually stayed for all the shows that are offered which gives one a sense of variety that is actually here. This time the weather was a bit cooler and we arrived near the opening time of Monkey Jungle. At first it was quite... More

We decided to visit Monkey Jungle, but were a bit hesitant as we didn't know how we would find the animals and their habitats. We couldn't have been more impressed with this place. The animals were very relaxed and the fact that we were in a cage and they were running free was fantastic! The animals that were in enclosures... More

Okay, I love monkeys. Always have. As a treat for the holidays, my in-laws promised me a trip to Monkey Jungle on my next visit to Florida. Today was that day. Five of us visited and we all loved it. We learned it's been around since the 1930's and it still has the feeling of an old time road side... More
