I bit expensive for a venue so far away, but truly a magical experience for the family. If your visiting miami for a limited amount of days, you could probably skip it. But if... read more

Not only is it pricey to just get in, but it's very pricey just to eat a pizza and drink here. I shouldn't have to spend $10 just for a meal. After my friends and I got here, we walked the whole place in about an hour and a half. What a waste, there wasn't much anything to see, sure... More

I hadn't been to Monkey Jungle but once when I was a kid 30 years ago. Living just across the alley from Miami we just never made the time for a visit. I'm so glad we made time to bring our boys 7 & 16 for a visit. We did the regular admission, but my littlest wants desperately to return... More

This was our second time visiting Monkey Jungle. This time though we decided to go on the Amazon tour. This tour takes you in to the monkeys so that you can feed them. There are hundred of squirrel monkeys and some capuchin monkeys. We had such a great time. The monkeys came by the dozens when they saw we had... More

I bit expensive for a venue so far away, but truly a magical experience for the family. If your visiting miami for a limited amount of days, you could probably skip it. But if your in town for a while, then don't miss this experience for the kids. Slight amount of funky smell but, hey you're walking amoung 140 monkeys.... More

You really do go into a massive fenced area where you are caged and the monkeys are free! Your get to feed them and watch some shows, and they even have a mature male gorilla that has his own apartment! You'll enjoy this!!

This is a very fun place to visit! Watching the monkeys in a natural environment was very entertaining. The shows were educational and our favorite was King the gorilla.

OK, I was younger the first time here and still a yankee. Our friends wanted to stop here so we did. Kids will like it, not as well kept up.

Monkey Jungle is a short drive from Miami in Homestead, FL and about 10 minutes to the Spice and Fruit Park just down the road ( another little gem ). Monkey Jungle started as a Monkey sanctuary in 1932. It houses many species of monkeys but I think my favorite are the Crab Eating Macaques that run freely about and... More

We were hoping to see the Orangutan and Gorilla along with their other monkeys. After driving 70 miles and paying a very high admission, we found out the Orang was not on exhibit-she has been sick for weeks. The gorilla can only be seen during a keeper inter action 2 x a day. Signage thru out park was poor at... More

This place is amazing. For the most part the monkeys are loose and the humans walk below. The squirrel monkeys drop a bowl on a chain so you can feed them. The monkeys then lift their food up and eat. There are larger monkeys in cages. The larger monkeys are fed by either dropping food down a pipe or placing... More
