Spent a day at Miami Zoo with my 18 year old daughter. We travelled round on the Monorail first to see what was there and then walked all around (stopping for lunch and to shelter from the rain in the middle!). Lots to see. My particular favourite was feeding the giraffes. Food good. Little tip: you can buy a souvenir... More

Nice zoo, well laid out, lots of misters to combat the heat. The kids enjoyed the aviary and feeding the rhino.

The zoo is enormous. There is a multitude of animals to observe. There is a kids petting zoo and a small water park located with in. I'd recommend getting the family bikes to get around due to the size. There are boat rentals and other family oreinted activities. There are plenty of eating areas, the zoo even makes there own... We enjoyed almost a whole day of roaming around in the zoo. We also made an effort to go for some of the "meet the keeper" events, which were ace, getting to talk to the keepers and getting some nice and great info about the animals. Surprising enough it seemed we were always the only ones making an effort of... More

This place was HUGE!!! We got rained out before we could finish our tour but what we saw was amazing!!! Very well maintained and extremely well designed. Handicap friendly. We saw animals there that we've never even heard of!! It is so spacious that even though it was crowded, you never felt boxed in by too many people. Extremely wide... More

Great open spaced zoo with lots of animals and amenities, down side is the queue in open air red hot sun to purchase tickets to get in. Don't buy the monorail as you don't see any animals for all the greenery around the track, walking round it all takes a good half day so good shoes and sun cream required... More

This zoo is ginormous. Seriously. It is an all-day activity, especially if you eat lunch on property. They a great variety of animals and the exhibits are very nice. Highly recommend renting the bicycle as it is a lot of walking in the hot, FL sun. Bring your bathing suits as there is a fun water play area for kiddos.... More

We purchased tickets on the zoo Miami website and received a dollar off each already reasonably priced admission. Make no mistake it's hot this time of year, take an umbrella to shield from the sun if you're sensitive to the heat. We loved the park setting and the animal experiences. I rented a scooter for thirty dollars for the day... More
