I took my son and my two nephews to the escape room this evening. We had a really great time. I've been to many room escapes in the past, and this one is up there on the top of my list. Looking forward to do another escape room there!

The four of us had a great time. There were two parents and two teenagers. We did king's crown and then because we had such a good time and some extra time, we did another: "CSI: finding Amanda". King's crown was a nice layout with three rooms and some clever puzzles. CSI had more combining information and sorting through it.

Last night we did the third and last room of this amazing venue.
All three rooms are lots of fun being "WHERE IS AMANDA" my favorite one, followed by the "QUEST FOR THE CROWN" and then the "DUNGEON".
Owners are super helpful and instead of just telling you the answers to some of the more complicated puzzles, they force you to think, making this an even more fun experience.
Totally recommend, whether you are a group of 2, 4 or 10.

I really shouldn’t have to say anything else.. the website says they want the players to arrive 15 minutes prior to game time to sign waivers and have a safety briefing. I would expect that the people running the game should definitely be there at least 15 minutes before the game. Our game was scheduled time was 1:30 and we coordinated this game with our flight time out of Miami. We were going to leave at 1:45 and the game master showed up at 1:42. The business space is shared with an ax throwing business and we appreciate the guy working there for helping us get the game master there when he did or he may have never showed up. Location is in a sketchy part of downtown Miami. Before booking you may want to double check to see if they have their employees at work that day.

Best thought out escape quest I have done. This guy knows how put them together to make you think. We went in a group of from work. We had a blast working together and trying to figure out the clues. I would definitely recommend this Night in the Castle quest to EVERYONE. We can't wait until the other quests open to go try them out. Very addicting.

Our family loves escape rooms, so everywhere we travel to, we try to do a few. We found The Escape Zone on Google, read the reviews and decided to check it out. We were not disappointed. The owner was really awesome...he offered us refreshments when we arrived, explained the game scenario and led us to the room. The game was challenging, but we managed to complete it. Although located in a less than desirable neighborhood, there is nothing to fear. The people were harmless, they were just homeless. Perhaps you could bring along a few sandwiches and pass them out. I have found that most escape rooms are usually located in those types of neighborhoods, probably because the rent is cheaper. We had a really good game and returned the following day for another. Enjoy!

My wife (Kristin) and I were recently traveling to Miami on business and had the afternoon free and decided to book a last minute appointment at the Escape Zone. They were reasonably priced and had an opening that fit our schedule. They did not have a ton of reviews but 100% of them were 5 out of 5 so we booked on Saturday, April 29th @ 5:00. When our Uber got close, we noticed that it was an area of town that was under a lot of construction and was sadly filled with many homeless people. When we pulled up there were multiple police cars blocking the road in front of the building in what was obviously a raid or an arrest of some sort. It is located in a strip of storage-style buildings/warehouses and the adjacent buildings are clearly abandoned and being occupied illegally. We called to explain that we were not able to come in, and honestly, not comfortable with the entire situation. She acknowledged that because of the surrounding construction, there are a lot of abandoned units but it is normally safe. She suggested that we come at a different time and explained that we could use it at another time, but that there was a "no refund" policy. When I explained that we were leaving town and couldn't use it at another time and didn't feel comfortable with the setup. Plus, this was in the middle of the afternoon and we certainly were not going to come back after dark. She reiterated that there were no refunds but I could come back in the future, (maybe up to a year?), I did not press for a refund but explained all the understandable reasons she could not expect us to use our reservation and she repeated that we were not able to be refunded. I did not fight for a refund since that would have further ruined the night and decided to let it go and eat the cost. I was then contacted for a review and felt compelled to explain my experience to be fair to anyone traveling to Miami with a limited schedule and a thought to consider the Escape Zone. It definitely could have been handled better by management.

We are sorry you had this experience. We understand your position, but would also like to remind you of our refund policy. Per our website and the terms which you had to accept in order to complete the reservation, there is a "no refund" policy, however you can reschedule your reservation. This is clearly outlined and has been used by several customers when they had issues with their bookings.
Additionally, we sadly cannot control the City of Miami nor its actions. Thousands of happy visitors have not run into any issues regarding the city or our establishment.
We would love to change your mind! If you are in the city again, do please visit and play our game.

Our group has done many different escape rooms throughout the country. Tonight, we dod the CIA room at Escape Zone and were blown away. The creativity, level of depth, and details were unbelievable. Next trip back to Miami, we will come back for sure!
