My brother, a friend, and I had an amazing day flats fishing with Captain Alex in his kayaks this past Monday. The weather and conditions were perfect, and Alex skillfully put us on fish all day. Alex was a fantastic guide who, not only enlightened us with information and details about the area, he was the busiest man on the water helping us to keep our lines in the water. He really seems to be passionate about making sure his guests have a positive fishing experience. With little experience in a kayak myself, I had no problems at all quickly adjusting to his Hobie peddle system. We weren't off the water 15 minutes before plans were being made for a return trip.

Captain Alex took my wife and I to a lagoon filled with Tarpon and we even caught some bonus species: lady fish, redfish, and snook. Had a great day in his kayaks! He is personable, professional, and a true Florida native who knows these waters. Highly recommend if you have kayak fished before or are a novice.

Landed Redfish, Black drum, sea bass, and so close to getting that Tarpon!!! Enjoyed myself all day learning from a guy who has a lot to teach. He will put you where they are and take the time to give you the best possible opportunity for the bucket list fish you’re after. Quick trip from Orlando if you’re staying there. Do it!

Me and my wife had an awesome trip with Captain Alex on our 5 hour lagoon trip! Alex is very knowledgeable guide when it comes to the fish and their habitat. He's there to help no matter what your skill level may be. My wife and I were consistently catching Tarpon the entire trip along with a snook. Live and artificial both produced! The pedal kayaks definitely add to the experience being right there on the water when bringing in fish. Can't wait to do it again!

If I could give this trip a higher rating, I would. The guide exceeded all my expectations and I will be booking with him again. I landed redfish, sea trout and tarpon and had several more fish on. He is knowledgeable and friendly and fun to be with.

I contacted Capt. Alex for a last minute kayak trip in the lagoon. He managed too squeeze me in and got me on plenty of fish. He is very knowledgeable and will make sure you get hooked onto something while out on the water. I’ll for sure see him next summer for another trip in the books

Captain Alex is an amazing fisherman and loves teaching so you can have success elsewhere. You can see how much he cares about the ecosystem by the way he treats the fish you catch and talks about the surrounding area and how it’s changed over the years. I look forward to going out with him again soon.

This is the second time contracting with Alex for a fishing trip but my first on a kayak in the open waters. I'm and avid fisherman yet still a rookie to the sport and for a first time off the beach I wanted to have a expert at my side. We launched off the beach with his Hobe Kayaks that have a foot pedal propulsion which made for a smooth entry through small chop water. Alex caught pogies with his cast net and we were off to the races. He provides first rate gear, kayak, conversation, tips, tricks and service. Kept me baited up and in the action the whole time. I caught several good size Bonita's, a few mid size sharks, a big hammerhead, a huge Kingfish (Alex says possibly the biggest on a kayak off the space coast. Probably just stoking my ego but I'll take it) and a giant Tarpon that took about an hour to land and pulled us in big slow circles over a mile down the beach. Luckily it was towards our launch point since when we were finished I was pooped. Once again a great time with Alex and I will be calling upon him soon. BTW best rates in Florida!

I called Captain Alex on Sunday and he made time for a half day kayak trip. We were on the water at 8:00 as promised and caught a variety of fish!! He is very knowledgeable and a hard worker! He makes sure that you have a great time and puts you on some great fish!! I will be back next year and I will be calling in advance to book with Captain Alex!!
