Nice place but we didn't see any manatees
The people said the water was too warm for them
But the other reviews said that February was a good time to see them
But that's mother nature for u!
Not much to do here though, but a nice place to walk around! The area this place is located in is not the greatest but 3 miles down the road is a yacht club.

I highly recommend renting a kayak and kayaking around the cove as well as going out into the river. We saw a good number of manatee including two small calves. They would come right up to the kayaks And kept swimming next to us. They are so fantastic to see. We also had pretty good luck seeing them from the shore on the small trail. Out of the river we saw lots of stingrays, puffer fish, jellyfish, a small shark, and cool birds.

A simple county park with a man-made lake. There was a bit of a rough trail going around the lake. We did see one manatee stick it's head out for a few seconds and lots of fish jumping. Aside from the lake, there is a pavilion, a playground and some sports fields. Was a very quiet place when we were there.

Not much here, except for a very short trail and a viewing platform, but if you happen to see manatees then its a worthwhile short stop.

Small park. You can rent kayaks. You can see the snouts of the manatees from the shoreline however the guide said it's better to get on a kayak and get out into the middle of the water to see them. We didn't have time to do that.

We were visiting Florida in summer and wanted to see Manatees. We had tried two other places with no luck but straight away at this place (even though it was mid day and warm) there were a number of manatee that could be viewed from the shore. This place is free and is just a car park and very short walk with a small viewing platform.
There was a business renting out kayaks to go on the water which might be a fun option for those with more time. We just walked and looked. So glad we went

We saw 5 manatees on a hot afternoon! So they are really there, it’s not just a name. Also saw a small alligator.

This is simply a neighborhood park. There's a small playground and some viewing decks. There's not much to it, but a nice view of the river and a quiet, peaceful place to stop and have a picnic lunch.
