This is a large beautiful community facility located on the southeast corner of the north Wickham and Post road intersection. It is on the Eastern Florida State College - Melbourne Campus. There is a covered drop-off circle and a large parking lot directly in front of the facility. I have been to this facility for several shows. The latest was for the United States Coast Guard Band show that played there. You can usually obtain tickets through Eventbrite or the King Center website. This show was free so you needed something that showed the barcode for the ticket. There were security guards and bags were searched. They had limitations on the size of bags allowed and weapons and other items were prohibited. Following the security screening, there were personnel to scan the tickets. It has a very nice entrance and the concession stand was open at this event. There were ushers at each of the doors to the theater. The theater has 2 levels: the main and the mezzanine. Every seat gives a good view of the stage and there are TV screens to allow the people seated at the higher level to see the show better. The seats were comfortable, the facility was clean and well kept and the personnel were professional, efficient, and pleasant. If you have the opportunity, I would definitely see a show that is performed in these locations. Enjoy.

We travel to this location to attend a Willie Nelson concert. We did not understand the center is located on a college campus. There is ample handicap parking available free that is close to the entrance. The staff at the center is very helpful with directions to seating. The handicap row is orchestra row U which is not bad. It seemed to be a more intimate atmosphere than some of the larger places we have been. Although they sell alcohol there were no food options available the night we were there. It is easy in and out of the parking area to the highway. Great experience.

I go here now and then if there is a show or concert I want to see. It has been renovated and very nice. It is easy to get around and the seats are spaced enough for leg room. The parking still not great since there are only 2 ways in and out. I know there are bigger and nicer venues in Orlando but for the area there are really a nice variety of shows. The location is good as well since there are a lot of restaurants close by to go to beforehand. We really like it there and when there is another show we want to see, we will definitely go back.

The King Center books an abundance of top-notch headliners and shows. The venue is pleasant with comfortable seats and excellent sound quality. The one "negative" is the fact there's no center aisle; therefore, accessing center seats means crawling over lots of fellow patrons to reach those seats.

Great band!
Great horns and sax players!
Beautiful venue.
Great sound. Easy to see everyone on stage at all times.
The volunteers were plentiful and friendly. Pre-concert drinks and service were a nice amenity.
It won't matter why you visit the King Center, it is a great venue. Melbourne is lucky to have this facility in their city.

My wife and I attended a Johnny Mathis concert in late April 2018. We found the King Center to be a very nice, medium-size concert venue. We sat near the front of the balcony and had a wonderful view of Johnny. Also, the sound system and acoustics seemed to be very good. Parking traffic upon exiting was a bit dicey, but not too bad.

Drove two hours to hear my favorite music Led Zeppelin.
Got here tried to be comfortable by sitting behind everyone so I could dance around the Volunteer Usher made it like I was stealing the seat
ExtremelyRude and disrespectful.
But after I talked to the supervisor she talked me down .
Let me sit where I wanted behind everyone
She’s awesome the free help not so much

I really like to go to shows at the King Center. Its a smaller venue and I've never had a bad seat. I live on the beach so it's close and don't have to deal with everything that goes along with seeing a show in Orlando or any big city. I saw Jackson Browne there over the weekend and he was as usual amazing. King Center has good security drinks are available and some refreshments. Ticket prices don't kill your wallet.

We have attended performances at the King Center for a few years, and have always enjoyed the show. That is, until we took in the Charlie Daniels Band show on March 19/17 and were quite disappointed.
I purchased the tickets online Nov./16 for my wife and I and we were excited to be able to see Charlie Daniels live for the first time. We paid $136.00 for the tickets, and considered this a fair price to see this performer.
What we didn't consider fair was having to sit through 30 minutes of "heavy metal country music" from an unknown group "The Scooter Brown Band" - extremely loud. They were on stage from 7:00 till 7:30 and then we (the audience) had to sit through another 35 minutes with the lights on and no entertainment , while stage hands arranged equipment and did sound checks for Charlie Daniels - he finally came on stage at 8:05 and performed till 9:25.
His performance was very entertaining and professional, but took up just a little more than 50% of the total concert time.
One would assume that the 7:00 PM start time would be referring to the Charlie Daniels Band, not some other group who it appears a lot of people in the audience had never heard of. There was no mention of the "Scooter Brown Band" in any of the promo material I received, nor does their name appear on our tickets or the email ticket confirmation.
I emailed the King Center 2X for some consideration, but never received the courtesy of a reply.
Disappointing to say the least.
