Grammy, Mom and 4 and 5 year olds went to see The Jungle Book. It was ok but we wouldn't go to see it again. It was loud, the singing didn't seem to be up to par, the storyline was long, there were some technical difficulties but the most annoying thing was the lady who walked out on to the stage and did a sort of 'welcome'. It felt more like a school performance in a school auditorium. Also, no water was allowed inside AND they don't sell water once you're inside. Not a smart idea...

I writing this review in hopes the King Center fixes these issues. Their web site is very difficult to use purchase tickets. Once I actually figured out how to select seats and buy the tickets I could not print the tickets out right then. Ticket holders must wait to receive an email via a bulk email that is sent out 24 hrs before the event which is used to print out the tickets. I called the King Center Ticket office and talked to the manager Chris trying to get her to email me my three tickets; but she would not do it.

I go here now and then if there is a show or concert I want to see. It has been renovated and very nice. It is easy to get around and the seats are spaced enough for leg room. The parking still not great since there are only 2 ways in and out. I know there are bigger and nicer venues in Orlando but for the area there are really a nice variety of shows. The location is good as well since there are a lot of restaurants close by to go to beforehand. We really like it there and when there is another show we want to see, we will definitely go back.

My husband and I enjoyed the show, Johnny Mathis. The Romance Tour, so much!
The sound is incredible, the seating comfortable and staggered so everyone can see.
Also, the staff was very welcoming. The ushers and bartenders were kind and friendly.
Mostly we enjoyed just being at a spectacular show at The King Center!

The King Center books an abundance of top-notch headliners and shows. The venue is pleasant with comfortable seats and excellent sound quality. The one "negative" is the fact there's no center aisle; therefore, accessing center seats means crawling over lots of fellow patrons to reach those seats.

Great band!
Great horns and sax players!
Beautiful venue.
Great sound. Easy to see everyone on stage at all times.
The volunteers were plentiful and friendly. Pre-concert drinks and service were a nice amenity.
It won't matter why you visit the King Center, it is a great venue. Melbourne is lucky to have this facility in their city.

My wife and I attended a Johnny Mathis concert in late April 2018. We found the King Center to be a very nice, medium-size concert venue. We sat near the front of the balcony and had a wonderful view of Johnny. Also, the sound system and acoustics seemed to be very good. Parking traffic upon exiting was a bit dicey, but not too bad.

Drove two hours to hear my favorite music Led Zeppelin.
Got here tried to be comfortable by sitting behind everyone so I could dance around the Volunteer Usher made it like I was stealing the seat
ExtremelyRude and disrespectful.
But after I talked to the supervisor she talked me down .
Let me sit where I wanted behind everyone
She’s awesome the free help not so much
Show was awesome

I really like to go to shows at the King Center. Its a smaller venue and I've never had a bad seat. I live on the beach so it's close and don't have to deal with everything that goes along with seeing a show in Orlando or any big city. I saw Jackson Browne there over the weekend and he was as usual amazing. King Center has good security drinks are available and some refreshments. Ticket prices don't kill your wallet.

We’ve not been to this venue and have tickets for two upcoming performances. For one, we were able to buy a parking pass but the other one had no passes left. What parking is available around the area? Thanks for a reply.

For a rock & roll music performance, which is better: The next to the last row (R) on the floor or a seat on the third row of the balcony? Normally I would think the balcony but, in the photos, it looks so far away. Thank you.

It's a small venue, so either would be good. As for the choices you mention, the view and experience will be similar.
