This is a small local theater that always has excellent shows. We went today and saw Love, Loss and what I wore which was very good. The actors were talented and there are no bad seats in the theater. It is small and seats aren't very comfortable especially for tall people. Other than that it is totally worth it.

This charming little theater is home to some big talent! While visiting from out of town, I had the opportunity to see "I Hate Hamlet", a witty comedy that was thoroughly enjoyable. Clever script aside, the acting was excellent, the theater delightfully intimate (no bad seat, not one), and the staff/volunteers welcoming and accommodating. There truly is something special going on here. I'll be back.

We were staying in the local area last weekend for our anniversary and when I was doing the planning for the weekend I was looking for something unique when I came across the Civic Theater. WOW is all I can say. What a great little theater! The production playing was a comedy, "I Hate Hamlet". Okay, first the venue. Great little intimate playhouse. Lobby area has some seating to sit and relax before the show and the staff is really friendly. Theater itself seats by my estimate about 100 in stadium-style seating with the "stage" at floor level. Although I don't think I would recommend the front row, there really are no bad seats. We sat third row on the right hand section. Now the cast: First rate! Very well cast and believable, great acting. Concessions: Beverages and snacks available in the lobby. We will be watching for other shows to attend whenever we happen to be in the area.

We are always amazed at the level of great talent by local artists, young and old. The theater is fairly small without a raised stage which brings you into the drama of the performance. Reasonably priced tickets,, beverages and snacks makes this a superb value. The last 5 shows have been fantastic.
