Could watch Dolphins off the pier where many were fishing. Bate and tackle shop right there and a restaurant. Wonderful beach that can be too dangerous for small children, but has so many seashells and dolphins. I hear they come right up in the beach...More

This is just a special place to me. You never know what you might see at the inlet: Kelly Slater surfing, manatees, sea turtles, pelicans, fisherman catching such a huge variety of fish or even a Right Whale Momma and calf! I love walking out...More

Before we finally put in a pool at our house, this was our go to spot for beach time. Beautiful area, there's a small cove that's just north of the actual inlet that is the perfect place to set up your lawn chair and enjoy...More

We did not notice much damage. There were a few guard rails and handrails being repaired but Boat ramps, fishing pier , museum, campground, restaurant and bait shop were all in good repair and open and operating.

We were there before the hurricane, so don't know. I'd call the park or look at their website to make sure. Good luck fishing!
