We spent the day at the inlet's cove beach - very shallow and calm. Considering how rough the ocean was that day, this was the best choice we could have made. There were plenty of trees for shade and picnic tables to eat at, right next to the lot. My husband and the teen boys fished from the pier. At... More

Could watch Dolphins off the pier where many were fishing. Bate and tackle shop right there and a restaurant. Wonderful beach that can be too dangerous for small children, but has so many seashells and dolphins. I hear they come right up in the beach area there, from locals after I left... or I would have hung out there longer...... More

My husband and I really enjoy our visit. The beach area was clean and not crowded. Beautiful waves! It was so relaxing.

Rented a Pontoon Boat - it didn't run well, damaged, and in disrepair... I reserved a pontoon boat online (their newest and largest), then followed up with a phone call asking if we started late and it was not rented in the afternoon could we keep it longer at the same rate. They said yes no problem as it was... More

This is just a special place to me. You never know what you might see at the inlet: Kelly Slater surfing, manatees, sea turtles, pelicans, fisherman catching such a huge variety of fish or even a Right Whale Momma and calf! I love walking out on the jetty to see how the fisherman are doing and have such great memories... More

Before we finally put in a pool at our house, this was our go to spot for beach time. Beautiful area, there's a small cove that's just north of the actual inlet that is the perfect place to set up your lawn chair and enjoy the weather. The cove empties out into the inlet itself, so a large amount of... More

Have been several times to the Sebastian Inlet State Park and always find the visit so rewarding. This time we went when there were gusty winds and yet a sunny day. Wow! The tide and waves flowing through the inlet were powerful and awe inspiring. Loads of pelicans diving and retrieving fish amid all the rush and noise of the... More

I guess if you have small children the lake like atmosphere of the inlet is nice but you pay $8 per car and it's packed with people so get there early. Otherwise I wouldn't drive this far just go to the beach it's free. Now the park does have camping and trails which if that's the reason to go it... More
