Great aquatic and family fun

This a must do for travelers. It's kid friendly and safe. We take our preschoolers here for field trips every year and they have so much fun. It tires them out every visit.

Sebastian Inlet is a great place to go. The tide pool area is fun to be in. Remember NOT to touch our gentle giants. AKA: Manatees. They often come into the tide pool. But, DO NOT TOUCH THEM! It's against the LAW. You will be fined. Enjoy the boats coming and going. Please take your junk with you thus only... More

The area is too expensive to get in and too restrictive. You can fish, but lots of campers all cramped in the area. Park is patrolled and no alcohol even at ur campsites. There are so very many other places to enjoy, (mostly free) we will not go back.

Wonderful park to visit. Has camping area and many, many fishing areas. The best part for us was walking out onto the long, concrete jetty onto the ocean. This jetty seems to be filled with fisherman all the time. Many, many fisherman who are regulars and they come prepared with multiple rods and reels and carts loaded with bins and... More

Camping area looked really nice and clean-should be great for fishermen. We visited the Sebastian Fishing Museum on site. This was well done and interesting even to a Florida native. History of the inlet during WWII, first commercial crop of Florida was pineapples ...not citrus. Learned of Ais Indian Tribe who inhabited area. The first US National Wildlife Refuge is... More

Fishing, surfing, kayaking, or camping. There is so much to do here. Enjoy a walk along the pier at the Inlet or take a fishing or boating tour. You will see all kinds of wildlife - porpoises, sting rays, leopard rays, manatees, osprey, and pelicans. It is a beautiful place.

If available, get a spot closest to the water. 1 - 11 are great. Second tier is not bad either. So much to see - manatees, mullet, jumping bait fish, dolphins, boaters, etc. There is some road noise, but it's interesting to watch people coming and going to Coconut Point. Good spot for cooling off in the water.

Voted best park many times over. Park has a swimming cove as well as a beach. Not to mention a jettie and a fishing pier. It's a great family day out. They also have a gift shop and restaurant.

I loved it here. On one side you have your typical beach and on the other side there's the inlet that is just beautiful. I'm told manatees sometime swim there but I've never seen them. There are a ton of birds though. It's a good place to bring kids to swim. Because it's an inlet it's very calm water. There's... More
