The museum was a good way to learn the history of Castelli ceramics. It's an easy walk through. I would advise seeing the museum before purchasing ceramics.

Castelli is a miracle. It would be interesting to understand the real motivation why in a small, apparently insignificant village at the shade of the Gran Sasso mountain, the tradition of the ceramic is so strongly ingrained. The museum is just a part of an interesting and antique tradition, in a village that lives on ceramics. For those of you willing to visit that place, I would also strongly recommend to visit the church and admire the roof.

Very disappointed to find this museum closed during a weekend when Castelli was celebrating 3 days of pottery!! I should have waited until 3 pm but in a town where there is nothing to do, I just left. The cultural show was poorly organised since they advertised what in reality was not true: events were non existent!
Will not go again, very far to reach.
