You can also paint your own painting in the garden with the help of Vino's Picasso (Seasonal Nov-April). You can also enjoy homemade ( "Love Boat Ice Cream")ice-cream right out of a real coconut shell and guess what? You can keep the shell and take it back home to remind you of the happy memories you made while visiting one of Florida's most popular historic landmarks and destinations.

This gallery and artist has fun vibes emanating throughout the garden setting in the back. Her use of color draws you in and invites you to enter her world and I loved it. Must check this hidden gem out.

Quirky and interesting place. Lots of cool gifts to take home. The artist is quite famous and once you see here original work you’re going to want to buy her stuff at local department stores.

If you like bright colours and fun, beachy themes, you'll love Lovegrove Gallery and Gardens. Leoma Lovegrove is a local artist who has a unique way of bringing wildlife and local fauna to life. Lots of bright colours, beautiful paintings and fun bits for home and garden.

If you can make it past the half dozen enormous Trump signs and flags outside you get treated to more propaganda inside...garish and overpriced. There is some beautiful things next door tho...I recommend checking out.

Her style is very tropical & colorful with glitter on some. Definitely not for everyone but she clearly has talent. The shop kinda felt like a tourist trap - expensive but I saw people buying things. The real treasure is the garden in the back. Go out and take some pics and enjoy the water view.

I took an art class from her & was disappointed. She didn’t teach her style. Instead she copied Bob Burridge’s class. If I wanted Bob Burridge I would have taken his class or watched his you tube videos, which I have. Other students commented that the class was not at all what they expected…. Drip trees & carrot people etc etc. She charged $600 a person for something you can you tube for free. Also she also talked about Trump ….. which wasn’t appropriate for an art class.

My wife and I have stopped here a couple of times while in SW Florida. It is a fun place with a most unique atmosphere. We have friends who have participated in the painting classes and they rave about it. I am not really an "art gallery person" (more of a history and museum guy) but this is a fun and unique stop that you should see even if art is not your main thing.

When we visited here we realized it was not just an art gallery but an art and human experience. To browse the work of such a unique artist in a mello, naturalistic atmosphere with an old-fashioned Florida vibe is what made this such a cool place that we keep going back to. You don’t want to miss this place when traveling in the southwest Florida area.

We purchased 3 lovely canvas paintings (prints) to put in our Michigan home. I really liked the beach, sea creature and Christian themes. I am so thankful I missed the Trump signs in the garden (another review) as I would surely not stuck around long enough to fall in love with the prints I purchased.

Good morning,
since your website is under construction: when is the gallery open at this time of the year?
Thank you!!!
Written February 1, 2017
Dear Smcclendon,
We apologize to you and others who have come to see our gardens behind the gallery and found them closed. During the summer months we are short staffed and use the summer months to renovate the gallery and gardens. From June through October we are open Friday, Saturday and Sundays. Starting November 1st we are open daily except for Christmas and Easter. This summer’s renovations include repaving our garden paths to make the walking areas slip resistant when they are wet from the rains (especially in the summer). When the project is complete we will be able to open the gardens during the summer months without fear of customers accidentally slipping on wet pavement. We are also installing a much needed irrigatiaon system and that will take a month to complete. We are making these extensive renovations so we can open the gardens during the summer months.
To those who felt shunned by my husband, Mike when he let some Beatle’s fans into the gardens and then didn’t let them in - it was a bad judgement call on his part. He wanted me to share that with you. Those particular Beatles fans were only allowed in one area to take the photo. They did not have free access to the entire gardens.
We are working to make sure everybody is aware of our summer hours and that the gardens are under heavy renovations. Again, we apologize and hope to make it up to you on your next visit to our little island of Matlacha.
