About
Gametrackers (K) Ltd are tour operators offering adventure safaris in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Rwanda and have been in operation since 1981. Our tours vary from budget to luxury camping, lodge and Tailor-made Private Safaris catering for individuals and families. We organize Safaris for large groups through our fleet of expedition trucks (schools, churches, Universities, GAP year students, mobile clinics etc), though our main area of expertise remains Camping Safaris – often to some of the remotest parts in East Africa. We remain one of the few operators who still operate road Safaris to the distant North of Kenya; the Lake Turkana region. Our fleet of 4x4 land cruisers caters for families and smaller groups who prefer accommodated tours in lodges and tented camps.

Gametrackers Safari provided a high level of service in arranging and coordinating my 8-day safari throughout Kenya. Judy was very responsive to my inquiries during the time that I was planning the trip, especially since I was a solo traveler.
Martin Tate, my guide, was a professional in every sense. Martin knew from instinct and experience how to find locations where the more elusive animals like cheetahs, leopards, and lions were located in the parks. Martin was very patient and allowed me the opportunity to stay awhile and enjoy the company of elephants, giraffes, lions, and baboons and he also helped explain different aspects of an animal's behavior. Finally, as a mechanic by background, he knew how to navigate Kenya's roads, especially the ones in the national parks which are not paved and are difficult to traverse under the best of circumstances and even worse when it rains.
My only recommendation in working with Gametrackers would be to independently research and review the lodging arrangements that it recommends. Flamingo Hill Tented Camp in Lake Nakura, for example, was excellent. On the other hand, the same could not be said for AA Lodge in Amboseli National Park. Be prepared to pay a higher fee for an improved level of accommodations.

I have done 4 trips through Gametrackers over the past 6 years. I keep coming back because I have had nothing but great experiences and I feel like I get the insider's experience of East Africa. They are easy to work with, knowledgeable in East Africa tourism, professional, find good deals and are flexible to meet my expectations for the trip. Everything is hassle-free. They take care of the planning, park entrances, meals, driving, equipment, etc. All I have to do is show up and have fun. I have traveled with groups as large as 25 and as small as 2 for as long as 3 weeks and as short as one weekend. They have always tailored the trip perfectly to our group size and trip length.
Gametrackers was quick to respond to my inquiries and have planned trips for me on short notice. The guides are been fun and very knowledgeable in wildlife, history, terrain, etc. I ate well on their safaris. The chefs prepared warm tasty meals even when camping far out in the bush. Their drivers are skilled and have taken me to some remarkable places down rough, muddy roads that I would not be able to go otherwise. One time they even towed other safari companies whose vehicles were stuck in the mud. I always felt safe on these safaris.
The guides have an knack for finding wildlife. Somehow they have managed to find the most reclusive animals (leopards, cheetahs, etc) for me, even when nothing is guaranteed in nature. One of my favorite experiences was when 6 lions came and laid in the shadow of our land cruiser during a safari drive.
Their vehicles are comfortable and offer great views for seeing animals and geography. Their tents are spacious and watertight. I've survived some intense rainstorms in their tents. I highly recommend their camping safaris as it is a true adventure to be out in the African bush. On the other hand, they have also organized great trips to beautiful beaches and fancy lodges for me. They can do it all, whatever you prefer.
My trips have included the following sights in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania: Murchison Falls NP, Serengeti NP, Tsavo East/West NP, hiking at Mt Kilimanjaro, Amboseli NP, Whitewater rafting in Jinja, Ngorongoro Crater, Zanzibar, Lake Turkana, Maasai Mara, Mombasa, Diani, Kilifi, Lake Magadi, Chalbi Desert, Hell's Kitchen, Samburu NR, Nakuru, Lake Baringo, Lake Bagoria, Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, Shimoni caves, Mt Kenya, and Lamu. Pretty much anything I wanted to do and anywhere I wanted to go.
Highly recommend Gametrackers.

We had an amazing safari trip in Kenya, thanks to Gametrackers! Very attentive support, from the planning stages of the trip to the actual time in Kenya itself. Gametrackers provided good recommendations for our itinerary across the various parks. But more importantly - we had an awesome guide! Zack was very friendly, hardworking, and so knowledgeable about anything we asked about the animals, environment, and the country in general. We were definitely in good hands during our trip. There are many safari operators in Kenya (from budget ones to expensive companies) but you can see on the ground that not all guides are equal. I can only say good things about Gametrackers and would recommend them to anyone looking to go on safari in Kenya!

Planning our safari with Judy's helpful assistance was easy. We were in Kenya for business but wanted to spend the week beforehand seeing some of Kenya's wildlife. Not wanting to spend too much time just driving from place to place, we decided on visiting Nakuru, Naivasha and Masai Mara. One of the highlights was walking Crescent Island out in the middle of Lake Naivasha. There are no apex predators there, making it possible to walk among such creatures as giraffe, zebra and waterbuck. We also enjoyed seeing rhino and flamingos in Nakuru. Our driver/guide Zach was extraordinary. He is very knowledgable about the wildlife, an excellent driver and good and easy company. Anyone lucky enough to have him for their guide, will be very well served. Our accommodations were just what we wanted--comfortable but not luxurious. Dea's Gardens felt like an oasis offering warm, genuine hospitality. Enkorok Mara Camp is a comfortable tented camp where our accommodations were surrounded by birdlife. We were interested in a moderately priced experience and Gametrackers delivered on that as on everything else. We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them.

Gametrackers LTD is simply THE company to do Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda with. In business since the early 1980s, Gametrackers understands how to do safaris. I have now taken three safaris with Gametrackers and each one has been totally amazing. Gametrackers understands that you want to spend as much time as possible on the drives to see the animals. Many companies shave time off the drives. A four hour safari game drive in South Africa may become just two hours. Not with Gametrackers. They keep their word and make sure you have maximum time with the wildlife. We put together our own itinerary, and they made it happen. We went to Meru National Park, Samburu, Kakamega Forest, Kibale in Uganda, Queen Elizabeth National Park, and the Impenetrable Forest. Just an amazing adventure. We camped for six nights and spent the rest the time in hotels. That's a nice way to do it. Stacey is amazing and will make sure all your needs are met. If you can get Rufus as your driver/guide, he is just amazing. And Benard is simply the best cook you could ever ask for. Book with Gametrackers. You'll be glad you did.

We picked Gametrackers because of a recommendation in Lonely Planet Guidebook plus great prices, quick responses to our emails and great reviews. Five of us in our 60's spent 8 days with Zack as our guide/driver traveling through Amboseli, Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru, Hells Gate, and Maasai Mara National Reserve. Zack was an awesome guide- an excellent driver in bumpy and harrowing conditions at times, experienced in finding a variety of animals, knowledgeable about the animals habits, a pleasant personality to spend a week in a car together, and very accommodating to our needs. A middle of the road cost-wise safari is what we were looking for. Our first accommodations at Sentrim Amboseli were very lovely- a resort type of feel with a full buffet everyday. Our second stay at Camp Carnelleys on Lake Naivasha in the Bush Baby House was quite comfortable. Definitely more of a camp ambiance with very good food in their restaurant. Our third accommodations were at Semadep Sunset Camp near the Sekanani Gate at Maasai Mara. When we first arrived, they were a room short- so they had to sort that out. Other guests had the same problem when they arrived. Seems like they overbooked. The Camp had a rustic feel. The tents have individualized bathrooms although they did not always have hot water for the shower. The food was good with a Maasai menu emphasis. All in all it was a fantastic week viewing the many elephants of Amboseli along with views of Kilimanjaro, the wildebeast migration and crossing of the Mara River in Maasai Mara, cheetahs stalking and killing a wildebeast, and a whole host of other animals up close and personal. We highly recommend Gametrackers and Zack!

I had the pleasure of a trip to Sarova Lion Hill with Gametrackers and I must say that this was an exceptional experience. From the beginning to the end, everything was in perfect order and it exceeded my expectations.
The journey to Sarova Lion Hill was very smooth. Our drivers were highly skilled and also friendly, making us feel comfortable throughout our journey. Their vast knowledge about this area and wildlife made this trip much more worth while.
The highlight of this trip was game drives that were nothing but fantastic! I got to capture wonderful sunset and sunrise shots! We saw a lot of wildlife at close quarters and the drivers made sure we got enough time to take photographs as well as appreciate nature around us. They amazed me by their ability to spot animals easily and provide some useful facts concerning them.
If you are going for an adventure safari in Kenya, then you should consider using Gametrackers. Thank you Gametrackers for making my safari so outstanding!

For almost a year my daughter contacted Stacey of Game trackers to plan 1-week of celebration for my milestone birthday, Sept 15-22, 2024. We ended being a group of 30 friends and family.
There aren't enough words to express how much everyone enjoyed themselves. Thank you again, Stacey, and the Gametrackers team, for making my Milestone Birthday Celebration an unforgettable experience. My personal favorite was the Salt Lick Lodge!

My wife and I have just completed our third trip together and my fourth trip overall with this amazing company. This time we did a 12 day safari to Mkomazi, Tsavo West, Tsavo East, Amboseli, Masai Mara and Nairobi National Parks. Whether a lodge safari, camping, or a mixture of both, Gametrackers always delivers quality time and again. This was our first lodge safari and the accommodations were all amazing. What keeps us coming back to Gametrackers? The service the Beasley family delivers. We suggest the parks and they make it happen. Gametrackers has the most knowledgeable and professional guides. Rufus is the best safari guide ever. His knowledge and love for the wildlife is unmatched and makes for an unforgettable experience. For us, he is more than a guide but a very good friend and we are blessed to have taken two incredible trips with him. We miss him already and will treasure the adventures we shared. Adrian took us to Nairobi National and we were so impressed with his love for the environment and all of its inhabitants. You’d be lucky to have him as your guide as well. Gametrackers will deliver all of your African dreams. Thank you! There’s no reason to book with anyone else.
