What better way to see the sun set into the Gulf of Mexico than on a Pirate Ship having drinks and listening to music. The DJ gets everyone dancing including the people on the shore as the pirate ship sales by. The bartender makes fantastic rum drinks and the views are stunning. This is the second time we have done this adventure and we look forward to doing it again on our next trip to Marco Isalnd.

We were a group of 6 people...my niece’s are 5&9 years old. Everyone had a wonderful time shooting water out of the cannons to attack the pirate in the water. The head female pirate engaged all the kids on the boat....she was outstanding, I highly recommend this short cruise for the kids.

The "pirates" aboard the Black Pearl put their all in to giving the kids a good time, making sure everyone has a chance to get in on the fun and generally being entertaining. We took the morning cruise where the kids had "pirate school" and a chance to use the water "cannons". Our grandkids were 10 and 7, probably at the upper age limit for the trip. The tenor of the entertainment was excellent for kids from about 4 to 8, but again, the crew made every effort to give everyone a good time and succeeded. Both kids enjoyed it.

4 of us took this sunset cruise and thoroughly enjoyed it. We got there early and were checked in and allowed to board the Pirate Ship early. We also were able to get nice drinks and take them up to the top deck which has shade, a must for me.

As the ship filled, we settled in comfortably and chatted with other guests that mentioned they have taken this tour many times and always had a great time.

Music was played throughout the trip and drinks and chips were availlable to buy. The first mate was an adorable red haired pirate who did her best to get the crowd involved in dancing to the music.

The tour includes a leisurely trip around Marco Island where passengers can see how beautiful this area is and take in some gorgeous high end properties.

We will do this agian if we return to Naples. Inexpensive and a nice way to see a sunset.

We chose to do the sunset cruise on the recommendation of a resident of Marco Island. We certainly weren't disappointed. The cost was very reasonable, and the captain and crew made the ride very entertaining! We loved the interaction from people on the shore as well as the Snook Inn.

My sister was in town so I thought a sunset cruise on Marco Island would be a fun way to see some
Of the island from the water. The Pirate Sunset Cruise was more like a party boat. The dance music was great and everyone seemed to be having a great time. Captain Frank slowed the boat so that we had an amazing view of the sunset.

We took our 7yo and 4yo sons and they had a lot of fun battling Pirate Pete in order to get keys to the treasure chest. The host, Pirate Rory, was FANTASTIC! She did a great job entertaining the kids and was full of wonderful energy. An hour was just the right amount of time for these younger kids.

I was disappointed with what was advertised vs. reality. On the website, it said to arrive 30 minutes early so the kids could get dressed like pirates and apply some tattoos. However, once you got to the boat, parents had to buy the pirate costumes and accessories. A plastic sword and eye patch were $6! They was no "free" option to get into pirate character.

Once on the ship, the snack bar was open for 5 minutes before setting sail to get snacks, drinks, beer, etc. During the trip, each child was given a very small glass of either sprite or water. And, the treasure was a bag of fruit snacks, some smarties, a tattoo and plastic beads.

While I recommend the trip for young children, I highly encourage a quick trip to the dollar store to get your own pirate gear beforehand!

We had 4 couples on the sunset cruise and it was so much FUN and RELAXING! Nothing is included (ex: drinks) but they had a nice bar with Barnacle Becky the Bartender and you could get alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The guy the DJ'd and gave announcements was the life of the party and came down on the main deck to do a conga line and get everyone dancing- so much fun!!! The whole main deck is open to the sun but the upper deck by the boat captain was shaded. There was a nice bathroom on board as well. Highly Recommend!

My husband and I took our granddaughters ages 5 and 7 on the Black Pearl when they were here for Xmas. We all loved it! The staff was friendly and great with the kids! My granddaughters got to dress up like a pirate, learned pirate dances, got to shoot Pirate Pete with a water cannon and got pirate treasure! The price was reasonable. I highly recommend taking your pirates to be on the Black Pearl.

Looking for a great adventure with your family? Let the crew of the pirate ship entertain you with song, dance and pranks. You'll be totally impressed with their skill at engaging children of a wide age, and we adults enjoyed the experience as well. It's an event that was fun-filled from "Ahoy to Good-bye". We'll be back for sure and will certainly recommend this to all. Thanks Skalleywags!
