Yesterday my 13 year old granddaughter and I went out with Captain Nick in search of shells. We chartered two two hours back to back. It was just wonderful . Nick is very pleasant and knew where to find the best shells. We also saw several pods of dolphins! The boat is beautiful. My granddaughter wanted to maximize her shell time so Nick motored the boat to get us to the islands but then we sailed some as well to enjoy the tranquility of being out on the water. My granddaughter found two large bags of shells! You can't go wrong to Charter Off the Hook. It was a perfect morning.

Definitely recommend for a family looking to find seashells and see the dolphins. Worth every penny!!! Our captain Nick went out of his way to make sure our kids had the best experience. He is super friendly and outgoing and is so knowledgeable about Marco Island. We will definitely be back!!

This was an amazing experience for my family and I. We went sailing with Off The Hook Adventures today, it was New Years Day & my husbands birthday. We are a family of five and we all loved it!!! It was amazing soaking in the sun and ocean. It was relaxing too. We saw dolphins a few different times and found amazing shells. I would highly recommend this sailing to anyone. Captain Corey was the best part of it all!! He was great with the kids so accommodating and professional in every way!! Thank you so much for helping my family and I create amazing mementoes! Happy New Year!!

My family of 4 had a great afternoon sailing with Off the Hook Adventures and watching the manatees and dolphins play in the water. Corey knew a lot about Marco Island which made the trip interesting. The little island he stopped at had many pretty shells. I would highly recommend it.

I took my family to Marco Island in August 2011 for a relaxing vacation and Off the Hook was a great time for my family. I have 3 kids 12, 14 and 17; they all had a great time and at the same time actually learned something about the area wildlife. We had the catamaran all to ourselves for ~3 hrs. We sailed around and saw manatees, dolphins, sea turtles, lots of pelicans and other birds. We also stopped on a sandbar to go shelling and found many sand dollars and other cool shells. I highly recommend this adventure. It was the highlight of the trip.

We tried to book this sailing trip for our 6 & 4 year old. We called to arrange and a trip and while saying we were from the East coast of FL the OWNER explained to my wife how he hates to deal with people from the "east ". I'm a 3rd generation Floridian and in my business wouldn't dream of profiling my customers ...ever! . We booked a sailing trip with the Marriott and it was fantastic. Wootens airboat was amazing too. Off the Hook...you need to get a grip on your prejudices for the east coast of FL and realize everybody an individual ...you (Off the Hook) are part of the problem!

My family of four (2 young daughters) had a spectacular time on the 2.5 hour catamaran trip! Not only was the ride beautiful, and our captain Cory super friendly, but we collected some incredible shells, and even saw dolphins! Highly recommended!

What a beautiful morning we had with Captain Corey. My two-year old is still talking about the boat ride weeks later!

Our family enjoyed a great time on this 2 1/2 hour tour, which took us to several shelling spots where we collected hundreds of beautiful shells and the mother lode of conch shells, the most beautiful we have ever found since visiting Marco island for 23 years. Captain Corey provides a comfortable, larger size sailboat that my typically-prone-to-getting-sea sick-husband did not get sick on at all. You can sit under shade on seats in the boat or on the soft part near the sail. Additionally, Captain Corey includes a variety of cold drinks (soft drinks, juice and water) and light snacks. Quite a bonus when you are out on the water in the heat.

On our trip, we were graced with seeing two manatee and several dolphins in addition to two friendly pelicans who the captain has "known" for several years now. Captain Corey was interactive with my family and indulged our two-year old by letting her "sail" the boat and gave us lots of fun Marco facts.

Please note: You do have to drive or get a ride to the marina. Some charters will pick you up in the water at your resort, which we've done before, but we actually preferred the marina since it seems safer to enter and exit the boat rather than battling the water to get on/off.

Having previously been on many charter tours throughout the years, this was by far the best and we look forward to returning again next year!
