not much in the way of shelter unless you bring it but a great walking beach and areas for kids to explore. Plenty of views of dolphins swimming by and some great birds. Also big paddleboard area, perfect for learning.

It is nice BUT, to overgrown. To much of a walk to get to the gulf. Cut back some of that crap, growing everywhere. I know it is a sanctuary but, you are losing people on that end of the island.

When the tide is not so high, the walk across the lagoon is ok, but at high tide is it smelly and gross. Walking around the lagoon is far. Beach is not that much better than using public access along Collier Blvd.

Beautiful Caribbean blue/green sea. Snow white sand. Wonderful shelling! We thoroughly enjoyed this beach and would go back in a heartbeat! You will enjoy Tigertail and say you were glad you experienced this beautiful part of SW Florida!

My husband and I went to Marco to look at property to buy and we fell in love with Tigertail Beach. Of the many beaches I’ve been to, none of them come close to Tigertail. It’s so unusual and the wildlife is just beautiful! The...More

We were taken to Tigertail Beach during our Dolphin Boat Tour. We found lots of awesome spiral shells, sand dollars, held a live starfish, saw nesting birds from South America, & found a huge conch shell. Water was clear, green & warm. Glad they brought...More

Tiger tail beach is a nice beach AFTER you get past the mud and wade through mangroves. If you are a local and not staying at one of the resort properties or in a hotel off the main beach this is a good option. However,...More

The lady in the front booth was kind of rude. We'd stopped by the evening before our planned visit, but were not allowed to walk down to see beach. The next day it was not explained that the walk to the beach was either a...More

I believe it was either $6 or $8 a day, but they offered limited hourly spots near the entrance for something like $2 or $3 an hour.

I really don’t know. I haven’t seen any posts on the beach but the public beach most likely would say no Alcohol
