Shells, Starfish, birds, snails, turtles, crabs, dolphins, fish, and about a billion shells. Explore the lagoon. Relax and spend some time.

Tiger Tail Beach is a popular beach on Marco Island. Not many people venture out all the way to the Sand Dollar spit. It is about a 4 mile walk on beach and through some beach vegetation. You will find a lot of sand dollars...More

Large cabanas with shade and a beautiful lagoon which you can cross by foot to oceanside. One of my favorite beaches on Marco Island. Birdwatching phenomenal.

This is a great place for shelling. Found lots of sand dollars. We try to hit up this beach every time we are in Florida.

To get to the beach on the gulf side, you have to wade through a lagoon - waist high water. Once you get there it is a very nice beach.

This was a fun, exiting adventure, visit tigertail and walk across to the main island and its absolutely stunning to see all the sand dollars and starfish..

Stopped at this beach. It's a county or city run park $ 8 to park. The area around the restroom and playground is really a tide pool and kind of yucky. If you walk about 1/2 miles south from that area it's a real beach...More

For those who want an awesome beach experience without huge crowds—this is for you. Shame on those of you who leave bad reviews of this beach because you didn’t do your homework. It’s a walk across a lagoon, but completely worth it!

It depends which part of the beach you go to. If you go to the small lagoon/inlet that is right there by parking and the snack bar and bathrooms, the water's a little murky. But if you walk across the lagoon or take the... More
