Visited Archibald Beach Park with family including grandparents, parents, and children ages 8-17. This is a good spot because the beach is not over crowded at all, there are bathrooms, showers, and a place to order food (burgers-shrimp-breakfast). Across the street is a CVS (snacks, drinks, etc) and a Subway (to order sandwiches). Parking is $2/hour. It is 5 minutes... More

Madeira Beach avoids the typical "young party crowd". Great place to family vacation. Plenty of sites and shopping within walking distance of the beach/condo.

They just installed paymeters and took out the coin meters.........i used to put $.50 in for 30 min and walk the dock with my coffee every am. Now it is $1.00 mimimum to park. The majority areas to park are $2 hour. Outragious. Johns pass is a greedy mess. Screw johns pass parking.....

This beach was lovely. Soft white sand, not overly crowded. Relaxation at its best. Great for familes.

We go here often because it close and easy parking that is safe, Very clean and attractive beach for sun worriers and beautiful sun sets that are awesome with friendly folks around enjoying the weather and the sights with lovely walks on the beach with your honey.

Beautiful white fine sand. We were staying at a place that had a private beach. We're there in off season, so not many people on the beach. So peaceful and enjoyable. Water was nice and warm. Note, the water was clearer in the morning than in the late afternoon. Only found small shells on the beach. Would come back again.

Some of the more smaller boutiques and speciality shops were nice, but too much tourist stuff and there are no obvious signs that you're supposed to PAY for the parking. The signs should be more prevalent for tourists, especially first time visitors. We didn't see there was a small ticket kiosk until we were almost ready to go home. Getting... More

Easy to access across the Tom Stuart Causeway, get there quicker than going to Indian Rocks, Indian Shores, Redington or Belleair. Some nice public beaches, one with the Snack Shack for on the beach dining. Four lane roads for easier driving & getting in & out of places. Close to John's Pass but far away enough to avoid crowds.
