Parasailing at Gators Parasail - Madeira Beach gives you a whole new view of the Tampa Bay Beaches from St Pete Beach to Clearwater Beach and beyond. The parasailing experience is safe and suitable for any age and an adventure you won't soon forget. Gators Parasail offers a Deluxe Parasailing Adventure that lets you all the way out and all the way up and includes a freefall that simulates parachuting. Stay dry the entire time or ask for an optional DIP and get wet from your toes to your nose! The Deluxe Parasailing adventure provides a wonderful panoramic view of our white sand beaches and sparkling waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Pay to Park Parking Lot within 2 blocks and a Pay to Park Parking Garage about 3 Blocks from our dock in Johns Pass Village and Boardwalk.

Several family members decided to go parasailing, so we picked Gators Parasail. So glad we did, the staff and crew was all very nice and knowledgeable. Our crew was Billy and Will, they explained everything thoroughly and answered any questions we had. If you don’t want to go up parasailing you can still ride the boat for around $15 I think. They offer a picture package if you can’t or don’t want to take your own pictures (Just make sure to tell the crew on your boat before you go up). They will dip you down in the water on the way back down, unless you request them not to. You are up in the air about 15 minutes. The only downside was the have a small parking lot so we had to pay to park in the parking lot across the street, which was about $10. Overall, it was fun and everyone had a great time.

Thank you for the 5 Star Rating and the very detailed and informative review! Good to hear your family had a great time parasailing with us here at Gators Parasail at Johns Pass in Madeira Beach. We agree that parking is challenging on our little island paradise and especially in Johns Pass.

First time going and it was wonderful. Myself, my kids and my mother in law all flew. My mother in law was very nervous but absolutley loved it. Bryce and Bill did a great job. I would definetly do this again and highly recommend gator parasailing. Go ahead and pay a very low rate and get them to take pictures for you. They took over 140 pictures and i got the sd card for $25.

So awesome! The last time I went parasailing was in 2002 in Fort Lauderdale and it was a short ride for more money compared to this. My friend and I were the only ones booked for that time slot which is probably why we got to stay up so long, but it was awesome! Going up was gentle, the dips were gentle and coming back on to the boat was smooth. John and Jordan were awesome too!

It was fun but short! We were all supposed to get about 10 minutes of parasailing time but we got short changed. We had a group of 11, 5 flights in all. The first group seemed too quick so I started to time the next two on my phone. I took screenshots of the times from liftoff to landing. The first one was 8 minutes 46 seconds and the second was shorted even more at 8 minutes 15 seconds!!!? Who knows what my time was.
Disappointing for the price! The whole excursion was said to be about an hour, I would bet it was 45 minutes total(since we left early & I didn’t pay attention to that time) Seemed like a rush-rush trip more than anything. This was my third time parasailing and I can say that the other companies didn’t make me feel cheated whatsoever. There was no above and beyond feel here, sorry to say.
Ending on a positive, the crew was very nice.

Beautiful morning and we had the boat all to ourselves. Instructions were clear, life vest and harnesses were snuggly put on and Jordan and Captain John made us feel comfortable. We were nervous during take off but after that it was a very calming and relaxing experience. I would do it again!
We brought our camera, however, i would recommend letting the crew take the photo's as they will capture what you cannot! Inexpensive and well worth it.

We came to Gator Parasail in 2011 and had an amazing time with our older daughters. This year we brought our youngest daughter and had just as an amazing time. The staff are super friendly and make sure you have a great time. They offer military discounts and take the time to make sure everyone is comfortable before going up. This is our Florida parasailing company.

My friend & I went parasailing for the first time today and we are so happy we went with Gator Parasailing! Captain Billy and Will were phenomenal! They ensured that every safety measure was taken and also made sure everyone had a great time! As I was getting into my harness, I admit I got a little nervous. Will’s calm demeanor put me at ease. As soon as we lifted off into the air, every anxiety vanished as the most gorgeous view of the Gulf of Mexico appeared 400 feet below. The feeling was so peaceful and surreal. This was my first and certainly not my last visit to Gator Parasail. If you are in Madeira Beach, do yourself a favor- go to Johns Pass and look for the yellow boats across from the Boardwalk Grill. You will have an amazing experience!

Such a fun experience! Staff was very knowledgable and made us feel safe at all times. Definitely recommend getting dunked at the end! I do not recommend the picture package unless you have no one else to get pictures for you. Our rider took pictures on his iphone and they were as good as any of the pictures from the picture package.

Just in from parasailing earlier today. Weather issues forced the cancellation of 2 prior trips but the guys at Gator were kind enough to fit us in after their normal business hours. We had an awesome time - Bryce & John were great, safe and quite friendly. They helped make a great memory for my family of 5. Would highly recommend Gator Parasailing. Will definitely be back on our next trip to Florida!

This was on my bucket list. It was an amazing experience. My friend, who is afraid of heights, and very nervous said it was a breeze. Captain Bryce and first mate Jarren were friendly, funny, and obviously competent. They made the experience even better. I would do it again.

What kind of photos are taken with the photo package? Do they provide a go pro and stick to take in the air or should I bring my own Go-Pro?

They take the pictures digitally from the boat, plenty of them as well and you purchase the SD card which is inexpensive. If you take a camera up with you just be prepared for it to get wet when you get dunked!

sorry for the delay in my response. You will be brought back to the back of the boat. The same spot you took off from. If you want to have your feet get wet you can ask the crew of the boat...but they will not let you land in the water...This is a very professional /safety first orgaination
