It's a great place to unwind and get ready for a new week. Sunday afternoon with nice people, optional drinks and food, and roots music. If you are really adventurous, go to the "open mic" at 3:00 before the regular music starts. Sometimes, the best music of the evening occurs then, and sometimes Not!

Americana music played by people who love the genre and listened to (actually listened to!) by the most welcoming group of folks you could imagine. We walked in knowing no one and walked out a few hours later feeling like we had new friends. I cannot say enough good things about this place/event. A beautifully restored building, great music, great people. 11/10 would go every Sunday if we lived closer.

you know where to find us every Sunday afternoon, listening to great music at Roberts Hall in Lynn Haven. They welcome us snowbirds just like we were locals. Maggie and Mike (lucky Mud) are the perfect hosts and make sure that people are there to listen to the musicians not talk during the performances. There are also (limited) food and drinks available at very reasonable prices, don't expect a full meal but there are different snacks every week, and the beer and wine was only $2.

I can't understand why this isn't overrun by people, because it is inexpensive (they ask for a $5 donation per person), informal, fun, and always full of surprises. Mostly traveling musicians perform, but sometimes locals are featured. Usually, the music is excellent, sometimes outstanding, sometimes not so great---but at this price, you can afford to take a chance. There are beer, wine, soft drinks, and snacks to purchase at bargain prices, and you can consume them during the performance. The atmosphere is relaxed and performances are stimulating, making for a lovely culmination to the weekend. Music begins at 4:00 PM and ends at 6:00 or so on Sunday at historic, restored Roberts Hall.

Maybe it's a blessing not to be "too busy"?? We want people who want great music in a Listening Room environment and that's what we get. So happy you're a part of the community. Love, Maggie

The sound in this building is amazing. The musicians that play here and the people that come and listen make for a happy experience. Young to old, it's a place for people who want to hear no ... more importantly LISTEN to Live music. Invited musicians are all so talented.
