- Nadine S3 contributionsOne of the best we have been toHannah was our guide. Her passion about the cats made this tour one of the best we have done. She is so knowledgeable about the animals. Not just about their species, but the personality of each cats, their likes and dislikes, how they interact with visitors and each other. Absolutely amazing!Visited October 2023Traveled with familyWritten October 17, 2023
- Linda FPembroke Pines, Florida3 contributionsA very enjoyable and informative trip to Panther Ridge. It is a well organized and informative trip. The volunteers are very friendly and knowledgeable of the cats they care for. Some of the volunteers have helped nurture some of the cats since the cats have arrived at Panther Ridge. This would be a great field trip for school children. The best time to go is later in the day when it gets cooler outside. Try the twilight tour, which is once a month. It’s a well spent couple of hours.Visited October 2023Traveled with friendsWritten October 29, 2023
- CarolLake Worth, Florida14 contributionsTwilight visit to Panther RidgeWe had the opportunity to visit Panther Ridge for a special twilight tour. The Florida temperature is cooler in the evening and we soon learned that the residents are much more active. We were allowed to tour at our leisure around the facility. If we had questions there was plenty of staff and volunteers at the various housing stations.Visited October 2023Traveled with friendsWritten October 29, 2023
- Monica FLutherville Timonium, Maryland2 contributionsDon’t miss this experienceWe learned so much from Morgan who is professional, knowledgeable of many interesting facts. The cats are all so beautiful and special. It’s hard to choose a favorite. The sanctuary appears to be well managed and maintained. All we wanted to do was climb in the cage with the cats! Despite arriving late, the staff was very accommodating to ensure we had a great tour and experience. This is a must see when visiting the area.Visited November 2023Traveled with friendsWritten November 10, 2023
- RR1749Briarcliff Manor, New York14 contributionsHighly enjoyable, very informative visit. We spent an incredible morning at Panther Ridge Conservatory with Hannah. She took us around to meet all the animals while she fed them. We were able to learn so much from her. Her dedication to each animal, and her apparent love for them was returned by them. The property is quite impressive. Their commitment towards saving endangered species is very admirable. Don’t miss the chance to visit Panther Ridge Conservatory and hopefully you will be as impressed with Hannah’s tour as we were.Visited November 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten November 13, 2023
- Carolishca FWellington, Florida14 contributionsWonderful Cat Sanctuary To Learn and To EnjoyPanther Ridge is a safe and efficiently run sanctuary. The grounds and enclosures are impeccable. The enclosures are spacious and filled with enrichment foliage (branches to climb, high platforms to sit or lay on, etc.). There are plenty of stimulating toys and places to hide and sleep. The animals look healthy and in very good health. Panther Ridge has staff and volunteers who are informative about each cat and demonstrate in good humor with the cat. This is a top notch place to come to learn and enjoy. It is also a wonderful place to bring children. Visiting here is an experience of a lifetime.Visited November 2023Traveled with familyWritten November 21, 2023

You can tell they are bonded with these beautiful animals and that they are so well taken care of by them which really makes the experience so much better the cats were BEAUTIFUL me and my kids had so much fun it was amazing never been so close to large cats like cheetahs jaguars as here it was awesome!!Visited December 2023Traveled with familyWritten December 8, 2023
- Jackie L1 contributionActually Saw the AnimalsI have visited several wildlife conservation/parks in Palm beach County. Each was a disappointment since you didn't actually see many of the animals. Then I took the Head Keeper Tour at Panther Ridge. I got to meet all the animals as they interacted with the lead keeper from just a few feet away!! Her relationship & knowledge with every cat was amazing. So if you really want to see these beautiful cats in person, go to Panther Ridge.Visited January 2024Traveled soloWritten January 17, 2024

My boyfriend and I visited the Panther Ridge Conservation Center and really enjoyed the up close and personal visit with the different cats at the center. We learned new information, like what the difference is between large and small cats (hint: it's not the size!). My favorite moment was seeing these fisherman cats dive into the water for pieces of meat that our tour guide threw. Many of the cats are not shy of visitors and will come really close. I'd recommend this tour if you're visiting the area!

My wife and I absolutely loved this sanctuary. It was very clean. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the cats and taught us quite a bit. The best part we’re the cats themselves. You can tell they are so very well taken care of. The cats are so beautiful and hearing the Cheetas purr just brought instant happiness. Recommend this tour for anyone that cares to see these beautiful animals and learn more.

What an amazing day we had at the Panther Ridge Conservation Center. The communications were great, notifications, updates and questions answered well in advance of arrival. The location was easy to find and the GPS took us right to the gates. Our guide opened the gates and let us in and we went on our tour. For us, the first thing we noticed was how clean the animal areas were as well as their campus all around. The animals were excellent shape, appeared well cared for and were happy to see our guide. A wealth of information was shared almost to the point of information overload, but all the shared knowledge was greatly welcomed. The two big winners were the clouded leopards and the fish cats! Easy to get around, pace makes it easy for anyone and every one to enjoy. We couldn’t recommend a tour here for any big cat/little cat lovers!

Panther Ridge is a small, intimate operation that gets you up close to some gorgeous wild felines. Our Zookeeper's Tour group consisted of eleven people and a very knowledgeable guide-caretaker. We learned the animals' history and were able to feed them a snack (from outside the fence)! I had never seen a cloud leopard so that was extra special. We were at Panther Ridge for 1 hour and 45 minutes.

This was our second trip to Panther Ridge in the last few years. We LOVE coming here! The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. They were even very kind and patient with some very small children asking LOTS of questions on the tour. We love seeing the cats.. it's impossible to pick a favorite! Great fun for kids and adults alike! Thank you Panther Ridge!

We really enjoyed the basic tour. Our guide was thorough and super informative, taking time to answer any questions. The cats are breathtaking and it's obvious the employees love their job and the animals. Would consider the linger tour in the future.

I just recently heard about this place and decided to check it out the guided tour this morning. I was impressed at how clean and well designed the facility was. The cats all looked very happy, healthy and very well cared for. My tour guide, Aurora, was very knowledgeable about each one of the cats. She told me all about their natural habitats and range, diets, characteristics and special abilities. She knew all their names and their history which was heartbreaking to hear about in some cases but also eye opening at the same time.
I especially loved watching the fishing cats swimming after treats in the water. I learned that clouded leopards make a really interesting noise that isnt quite purring but isnt roaring either. (Apparently cats that purr cant roar and vice versa, thanks Aurora). The cheetahs were fun to watch playing and chasing after each other.
The layout of the enclosures was great. It wasn't a lot of walking like some places require. The enclosures allow for excellent viewing and allow you to feel like you are very close to the cats but also far enough away to be safe. Great for kids or adults of any age. I highly recommend this place for a Sunday Funday destination.

The twilight tour is a must attend. The cats are beautiful and the staff is very knowledeable and attentive. You can tell how much they care about the well being of the animals. Judy the owner has done an incredible job at building the center and ensuring that the public is educated about how important it is to keep the many different species of cats out of extinction and what we can do to play our part to ensure the cats do not fade from the earth. The event is for all ages but small children should not be allowed to be disruptive. The cats are sensitive.

Had an amazing time at Panther Ridge Conservation Center today. I've been to many cat rescues & sanctuaries throughout Florida and this place has the healthiest happiest cats I've seen! If you are ever in the west Palm Beach area, I suggest you book a tour, all funds go to support these animals, their rehabilitation, conservation and rescue. ❤️
You see the fence lines in the pictures, but they have very large enclosures. I leave sad visiting some of these places but not this one. They truly love the animals here. It's not about the money to them. They only offer 2 tours a day, so the animals are not overwhelmed.
Highly recommended. 🐅🐾

I hadn’t heard of Panther Ridge and when I was told, I went directly there with my teenage grandsons who were almost as excited as I was. What a wonderful surprise to see those magnificent cats! I’ve always been a major big cat lover! So walking in and seeing how immaculate each beautiful cage was and how healthy and incredibly well taken care of each individual animal was made me want to just move in and visit each cat every day! What an honor to see how clean everything was and how much these beautiful cats seemed to enjoy their surroundings. This is an absolute must for anyone to visit. And check out their twilight tours too! Awesome experience and you won’t forget the beautiful cats.

Can it be done comfortably in rain/wind conditions? Comfortably is subjective. I don't think it's comfortable at any time being out in rain and wind. If it's just rain or just wind, I would consider that to be ok conditions.
