Very lovely to walk and see birds and wildlife. A real gem and it’s free. There is a playground for children, restrooms and drinking fountains even for dogs.

We visited the park on August 19, 2018 and unfortunately the current issues with the harmful algal bloom (HAB) or “red tide” rather spoilt our visit. Our brief walk left us with the impression of a well-tended park but at one point the boardwalk cuts...More

This is a very clean park with a playground, restrooms, and nice walking trails. If you walk back to the water's edge, there are tons of jumping fish. There are numerous coastal birds and ducks also.

Great nature walk on Sarasota Bay with fun children's play area. Facilities are very clean. Gardens are beautiful. So many birds and sea life to be seen.

We stopped here based on reviews I read and it was definitely worth it. We saw a lot of wildlife - crabs, fish jumping and lizards. Even our teenagers enjoyed it.

You may miss it unless informed - but in this high profile community of Longboat Key - you will be surprised to find this clean native growth park on the water front.

Much of the parking area is gravel ,but the trails are certainly amenable to a scooter. Have fun.
