Fun and very well maintained resort course. Classic old school Florida course that is extremely playable for all levels of golfers. Vast array of seaside birds around the waterways. I saw an eagle, ospreys, rosette spoon bills, and skimmers to name a few. Really close proximity to the hotel.

Islandside is a demanding course and not particularly long but features lots of water and some tricky par threes. Ocean Properties (who bought the resort from the Loeb Group 3 years ago) spent a fortune in totally redoing both of its golf venues on Longboat Key . Unless you have played Augusta National I doubt you have ever played on... More

Now referred to as The Links on Longboat, the course is very playable and in excellent condition. A good test of golf for all levels of golfers. Friendly and helpful staff.

The Islandside and Harbourside golf courses at the Resort at the Longboat Key Club have just recently been renovated. Challenging, yet forgiving for beginners, you will love the views of the Bay along the bayside holes and peeks of the Gulf on islandside.

Both Island Side and Harborside (all 45 holes) are manicured and challenging. We played more than 10 rounds this year and had a great experience each day. The grounds surrounding all property is extremely well kept, without any intrusion from sounds of mowers, weed cutters or any other noise.

Islandside has been completely renovated and is now an outstanding golf course. New greens are amazing. Like putting on a pool table.

Food was very good, & the service was great. The view was wonderful because it overlooked the golf course.

This is a difficult *water on all 18 holes) course whose conditioning has improved somewhat in l;ast 2 years, but the price at $100 is way to high for the quality and condition particularly when compared to courses within a 30 minute drive in Sarasota and Bradenton.

Nice venue but needs a little rehab. Cart paths need new blacktop and, in some cases are getting it.

You can play Islandside by being a member or staying at the Longboat Key Resort. Picturesque and challenging with water on every hole...bring extra balls.
