We booked a 3 hour sightseeing trip with Captain Casey, and had so much fun that we chartered another 4 hour fishing trip and then a further 4 hour combined trip.
For the fun that we had, the trips were well worthwhile. The boat is very safe and well maintained, and great for being out in the bay surrounding the Anna Maria area, and the 4 people in our party were made very welcome and provided with drinks.
Captain Casey is such a great person; she is extremely knowledgeable about the area and showed us lots of the local scenery including Passage Key and Egmont Key. From a fishing perspective, she is super, being very professional with lines, baiting and fishing locations, and helped us to catch some great fish as well.
All in all these trips made up some of the best memories of our visit to Anna Maria, and I would not hesitate to use Captain Casey again.

My family and I went on the “Day Trip Special” with Captain Casey, which is a combination of fishing, sight seeing, snorkeling and even stoping at a waterfront restaurant for lunch. I could not imagine a better day on the water it was fantastic. I got my fill of fishing, the kids loved the snorkeling and finding sea shells and sand dollars and we all got to explore the beautiful island of egmont key. We saw lots of wildlife including dolphins, manatees, stingrays and baby sharks. The Captain was very nice and personable and did her best to entertain and educate us all day. I would highly recommend this trip for your family’s adventure!!

Captain Casey took us out for a morning fishing trip. We had booked the trip online and she called the afternoon before to confirm and address any questions. She informed us that fishing may not be the best because of the windy weather and we appreciated that heads up. We chose to keep reservation and had a great morning. She was very accommodating and helpful with rigging. She was knowledgeable about the fish, birds and Florida history. She just hung out with us like a friend. We had fun, the weather was great and we had a wonderful time on the water.

Was told they could accommodate a wedding party a month ago then I get a text saying 2 days before they couldn’t. We tried calling, texting leaving messages trying to work up alternatives and was not willing to respond in any timely manner thus work with us. They were at least kind enough to gives us the name of another company that may be able to accommodate but given its the holiday week and a larger party we had no luck.
If you decide to book just be certain to play phone tag and when they do answer they’ll mostly likely be in the boat with other patrons keeping it short with your questions and concerns.

Our trip with Captain Casey was Excellente! From the moment we met our very competent, intelligent and kind boat captain, we knew we were in the best hands ever. We spent 1.5 hours at the end of our day for the sunset tour in the bay and then ended up watching the sunset from the intercostal...what a sigh! To top the evening off, we had a full moon and beautiful colors in the sky. Hands down though, the best part of our trip was that Casey was a Capitana and not a capitan!

We booked the combo package for 5 hour day trip with Capt. Casey. We cruised to Egemont Key and saw the lighthouse and also fished for snapper. We had a great time. We also fished at another location and saw several dolphins. Capt. Casey was knowledgeable about several
great spots to fish on Long Boat Key and is an excellent guide. My husband and I had a ton of fun on our first fishing charter! I would highly recommend booking a charter with Capt. Casey!

Amazing sunset cruise for our girls trip. Capt. Casey was great to work with and made sure we saw dolphins & an incredible sunset. If you have a small group and want a private charter, Capt. Casey & Longboat Bay Charters is the way to go.

My wife and I took our two boys (15 and 12) a 4-hr Fun Run with Captain Casey during our vacation on Longboat Key. It was a great way to spend the day and everyone had a great time. We ended up doing a little bit of everything. We started with some fishing and caught a couple of big spotted sea trout! Then, we visited a couple of sand bars where we found sea urchins, sand dollars and a giant conch! From there, we headed out to the open water to see dolphins. Casey was an absolute pleasure and was happy to tailor our trip however we pleased. Highly recommend!

Captain Casey was absolutely wonderful! She helped us decide where to go and and even made a fun recommendation that we would have never thought about. We will definitely book again.
