Clean, plenty of free parking, safe, well patrolled, plenty of picnic spaces, cold water at drinking fountains - Coquina Beach is the epitome of a beach! The only smalll issue I discovered was that after it rained, there were some extremely large pot holes - but who cares - the free trolley services it so don't drive. This beach also... More

Located on the south end of the island, Coquina Beach is the longest stretch of beach on Anna Maria. Plenty of FREE parking, lifeguards, concessions, picnic tables, a playground, restrooms and showers. Remnants of old piers jutting out into the water make it a choice spot for surfers. Great beach for swimming, sunbathing, or just playing in the sand. Dolphins... More

Always make a stop at Coquina while vacationing at adjacent Longboat Key. One of the most beautiful beaches in Florida. Not many services, - there are bathrooms, changing rooms, maybe a couple of lifeguards, no stores or bars, - but it's all free. Plenty of parking & space during the week, but can get quite crowded on weekends. Great for... More

We went to this beach as a family of 3 with a 6 year old on 3 occasions during our stay in Florida, and found it easy to park on all occasions. There is a cafe nearby which does really nice burgers / sandwiches, toilets and showers to wash the sand off your feet. The beach wasn't over crowded, and... More

This is an awesome beach. White sand, beautiful water. We spend the whole day there. They have plenty of parking and also places for picnics. Concession stand and bathrooms were really nice. Along the trail they have changing rooms so you do not have to walk to the restroom and wait. We use to go here many many years ago... More

Not powder like Siesta KEy, but, still a great beach. 2 hours of sun & surf and we crossed the street to the Coquina Baywalk, nice views, nice little walk. Great day with a good friend!! bathrooms,... More
