You cannot enter the grounds unless you sign a covid waiver that you hold the park harmless which is fine but then they require you to wear a mask outside when you're not standing in a square that they mark off with paint on the ground. The staff comes up to you and yells at you to put your mask on and to stand in your own assigned box.
They literally treat attendees like a children when it comes to masks and social distancing but couldn't care less that illegal drugs are everywhere. As long as you wore a mask and stood and a box you could do all the drugs you wanted.
The cabins are dirty and overpriced and their golf cart trail fees are a ripoff. The bathrooms are disgusting and the staff is rude.
The whole experience was a jamband show being run by dictators. The most absurd outdoor music festival I have ever seen. I'd been to the park many times before but I will never return again.
The people that run the park should be ashamed of themselves.

They could have something available for their full price menu besides camping in the piney woods. Everything was closed except their cash register. We thought at least we would get to see the river but they blocked off access to that also. That did not stop them from charging us $165 for a single day golf cart that we could only use to view the woods. They claimed the state shut down access to the river but they neglected to factor that into the rate for the golf cart, about ten times what you could rent one for on a golf course where you could actually see something. They were completely unfazed by price gouging complaints!

We rented a two bedroom cabin for our family of five (children 11, 7, and 3). First impressions were that the cabin had not been properly cleaned. Roach droppings inside kitchen cabinets and thick layer of dust on top of refrigerator, which was the only place available to store food. Outside, the deck had obviously not been swept in a while and there was random trash on the picnic table and surrounding ground.
Their website says these cabins sleep 4-6. While it may be possible for 6 adults to sleep inside, I can't imagine any way that they would be comfortable. The kitchen/living area is tiny and the only inside seating was a love seat and two kitchen chairs. When the love seat is pulled out into a bed, it takes up half the room.
The air conditioner is mounted to the wall outside of the main bedroom and shakes the whole cabin.....none of us slept well due to the noise (my wife and I didn't sleep at all).
These are advertised as "Modern Cabins" on their website. We knew that they were mobile units, but the pictures on the website are not representative of what we experienced. Our cabin was basically a FEMA trailer that had an attached deck. If we had just experienced a natural disaster, it would have been a blessing; for a weekend getaway it was a disaster in itself.
Long story short, we only stayed one night out of the three that we paid for. We have attended many music festivals here over the years and thought it would be nice to enjoy the grounds when there wasn't a festival. However, the condition of the cabin was so bad that it was impossible to enjoy our stay.

They make you sign a waiver to get in saying you hold them harmless if you catch covid yet they have staff that yell out you and threaten to kick you out of the park if you don't wear a mask outside. They also make you stand in a marked off box to watch bands play outdoors. Very bizarre and not a place you want to be. Lots of drug use and sales but they don't seem to care about that.

Learned an amazing fact- Stephen Foster not only was NOT a southerner, he only even visited the south one time his entire life, his music was about people and places he knew little of. The museum that houses hand made dioramas illustrating many of his songs is in a lovely old home built in the 50’s to replicate one from the 1800’s, sits in the middle of the music park and looks towards the bell tower. The music festival is held each Memorial Day weekend.

This was our first time camping at the Suwanee River music campground. We stayed in a “cabin” (Actually a trailer) 220G. There were two bedrooms with queen beds. One bathroom with a standup shower, a kitchen with a refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee maker(Bring your own coffee and filters), we travel with our Keurig so we did not use the coffee maker. There was TVs in all the rooms however there was no channels. We weren’t in the room much so that was fine. Our cabin would not cool down less than 78° during the day. There was a dehumidifier in there so that helped. Again we weren’t in there much during the day anyway so it didn’t affect us terribly. The cabin appeared to be clean, it’s camping so I didn’t expect it to be like a five star hotel. They definitely have their wear and tear on them. The general store has almost everything, there is a café or restaurant on site with a variety of food and drinks. We had a lot of fun cruising the trails on golf cart. We did the canoeing which was quite an adventure, especially the trip getting to our location to canoe from. Brian hour transportation driver was amazing! We did a two hour canoe trip, totally worth every penny. We visited the bat house in the evening which was quite an experience, very unique. The whole park was pretty amazing, lots of nature, the springs was beautiful and every was kept up very well. Visited the bath house closet to the cabins, they were nice. I was almost going to go over there to shower. Walking in it smells like the Sheraton, which is amazing. They have two shower stalls and several toilet stalls. Very clean. Overall the whole park was pretty amazing, we went during a quiet time, no festivals and right after school started. We enjoyed our visit and will go back!

Had a Great Time , made new friends. Bring a golf cart or horse if you have one. The property is big ! Golf carts are available to rent but get rented quick. Suwannee lights are beautiful but are an extra charge even if camping. The Facility are Average , I didn’t think the restrooms were clean , I would not use them unless no other choice. I made a reservation and tried to call for a week ,also emailed and left messages got I voicemail back informing of my site, finally after a week a email to answer some of my concerns. I am told by other campers they are short of staff ? On a positive note we had a great time , the fireworks were great , I would like to return in the summer to check it out .

This park is so large, it's easy to get lost! Facilities are mostly in tact.... mostly kept.... the river is its biggest draw. And it's lovely! Dark, tea-colored water lapping against sugar-white sandy beaches. But the staff.... when you ask if something can be done, they look at you with no expression, no response, no movement, no acknowledgement. Nothing. Nada. I was quite non-plussed. You must followup on requests. One of two I made was never done. The park is not secure. Local teens come in and stole a golf cart while we were here, running it down to the river. And it was LOCKED. Bathrooms were rarely restocked, or cleaned. There is much here that could be improved, but you need staff that cares and responds.

Heard a lot of good things about the park. Went to check it out. The older lady at the gate did not even give us a chance to talk. She asked if we have reservation, we said no. She just showed us the way out of the park in a hateful fashion. May be because we were people of color that bothered her.

Staff welcoming, park clean. Huge layout with lots of room to team. I highly encourage renting a golf cart or two to get around. You book carts thru the country store. They have a stocked store to get things you may have forgot. The food at the cafe is edible and service a bit slow but glad its there for us to use if needed. They have cabins, full hookups, primitive sites, you name it. I enjoy they different music fests they have here as well. Families also welcome.
