We walked along the road,, as there was no sidewalk, but had to stand aside each time the trolley passed, since it took almost the entire width of the road.

I stayed at Suwannee River State Park in the cabins (#1) in Nov 2016 Thanksgiving and #4 last summer (July). We brought our kayaks. This time (Nov), we brought the older family to check it out!! It has two bedrooms, a bathroom, living room and fully stocked kitchen. Also a screened in porch with swings with my elders loved. It... More

We stayed for 2 nights with a 1 and a half year old baby. I was impressed with how clean and well equipped the cabin was with essentials such as kitchen utensils, soap, towels, and sheets. One should bring paper towels, toiletries, and of course food. If you plan to grill like we did, bring your grilling instruments and cutting... More

My son and I parked here to hike the Big Oak trail. The rangers are very helpful. They invited us to leave a hike plan for safety. The park has the remains of Confederate ground works and an old steam ship. You have to leave the park to hike the trail. On the trail you pass over an old bridge... More

My husband and I spent a night in a cabin at this State Park. It was so peaceful. The cabin was so nice and we didn't miss tv or our computers at all. The first thing we heard when we arrived was an owl somewhere close in the woods surrounding the cabin. Can't wait to bring the grandkids.

Cabins are impeccable. Clean. Well furnished - full kitchen. Arrive with your own camping food, bar soap and shampoo - everything else is there - cooking utensils, toilet paper and bedding. Really nice walking paths a few steps away from the cabin. Even saw armadillos while out on our walk.

Went with husband and two children, 6 and 11. Cabins are fully stocked with linens and cooking equipment. Very limited internet available, depending where you are inside the park. We really enjoyed the trail leading to the old cemetary and the Lime Sink Run trail.

This is a beautiful camp spot on the Suwannee. Cabins that are really nice and lots of space to camp. Also a nice rv camp ground with very nice bathrooms and showers. We tent camped on the bluff along the Suwannee. Also a really nice ramp for boats too.

We love staying at the cabins at this park. There are dozens of amazing rivers and creeks with in an hours drive. At the end of your day you can relax in a nice cabin with a hot shower. The park staff are friendly and almost always available.

The park does not seem big at first glace. If you do not hike or boat, it will feel real small. The trails near the river are shady and well marked. Easy hike even in direct sunlight. We loved the natural springs and the views of the river. Saw no wildlife.
