Suwannee River state park is a nice quiet area along both sides of the river. Trails near the picnic area and picnic area were well kept. Bathrooms had flush toilets and running water. Lots of critters.

Nice place for a picnic. Get off the road and take a break. Although the water was a little low during my visit , it’s still a place to take a dip and refresh. Maybe nap for an hour and get back on the road....More

This park is very popular with canoeists and kayakers and there is good boat access. There are also some nice walking trails that are pretty much all to yourself with most people out on the water.

I don't think they are so busy that you need to book to far in advance. I booked a month out. I'm not sure on how many pull through sites but it's not a huge Campground and I only remember seeing a few.
