Great place to walk or run with lots of shade during the hot months beside a quiet trickling stream. Plenty of picnic facilities and playground area for the kids. Very well kept, clean with restroom facilities maintained by Hillsborough County Parks & Recreation.

Family friendly park with very nice trails that you can walk or bike on. You can also put in with a kayak at a dock that they have.

Whether you choose to bike, hike, stroll, jog or take the dogs out this is an awesome park. I love the stops along the way; great strength training stations. Perfect for picnics! Play area for kids and then of course the canoe launch! Love it!

Aldermans Ford Park is only a few miles down the road from where I live in Valrico and one of my favorite spots for enjoying Florida's nature. If you're into nature trails, river walks and canoeing this place is great. It also has a very nice playground for small children and picnic and grilling spots for those folks that want... More

This is perhaps the nicest county park in the county with wonderful facilities for the family and other groups. Beautiful hiking trails, clean restrooms, and ample covered pavilion space for throwing a party. Located just south of Plant City off HWY 39, you get the feeling you are in a rural county. The river is gorgeous there, as it is... More

The summer temps in Fl must be close to the surface of the sun, except more humid! My husband and l still like to get out during the summer ntonhike & geocache. This is a great park and trail to do just that as there is plenty of trees to provide shade. We didn't do any kayaking, but plan to... More

Good picnic area and long walk. Canoes, wooden walkways. A map helps! There are a few play areas. Bike riding easy.

I had not been to this park in years. I had forgotten how pretty it is here. It is a big out of the way from most major cities but worth the drive.
