Morning run

Lantana is a great place for morning revelers and sunrise watchers. The beach is still warm this time of year and the crowd does not gather until 10 AM.

We had a colli scare and I still went surfing there. I smiled, and met other smiles at a glance. Then, we dried up in the sun, but not all of the way, and paid a moderate price for food at the Dune Deck. Hamburger and Cheeseburger, steak fries, and a Coca-Cola.

I have seen people sitting and walking on the turtle area. There are much better public beaches in the area. Needs a good cleanup on the restrooms. Not much of a beach. Very narrow.

Nice Public Beach. Has Lifeguards on duty. Good family location. I WISH folks would simply clean up after themselves though or the county would before the tide washes all of this garbage out to see. Police each other folks. Its a precious resource being squandered.

We enjoy this beach for the surf. Many surfers enjoying the waves. Great park for the kids and a good restaurant on the ocean for breakfast & lunch and drinks.

We winter not too far from here and often come to the Dune Deck. the view is outstanding. I never get tired of the changing sea. We have seen spinning sharks that weigh probably close to a hundred pounds spin ten to twelve feet in the air. The boats, the people sunning, surfing, kiting and the cleanliness make it a... More

We went to lunch at the Dune Deck Cafe so went to the beach afterward. There isn't a lot of room on this beach so you may want to go north a few minutes to Lake Worth Beach. More room there plus they have the fishing pier and ice cream parlor which the kids like.

My son and I went here for a snorkeling trip. The rocky ledges and reef was good to see a variety of fish. You do have to pay to park, 1.50/hour. There is not much beach to lay out on if that is what u like. It was pretty rough and lots of rocks/broken shells to walk on.

Once you figure out where to park, it's a bit disappointing to see just how small the actual entrance to the beach is. It's not easy walking. If you proceed on the steep sidewalk toward the life guard stand, then you'll enjoy the view.
