After having dinner, my fmily decided to take a stroll around downtown Lakeland, right across the restaurant we ae was Munn Park. The park was decked out for the Christmas festivities. Trees were draped with lights that streamed down, and would beam downward, almost resembling snow fall. The path entrances were decorated with arches. The park itself a very nice town square, well maintained. It is used for local celebrations. The one down side is that parking can get scarce.

Overall Munn Park is great little park for anyone looking for a place to sight see and tour Lakeland's historic district.

I love how the downtown area is centered around this green space. The park is always well-maintained (free of trash and the grass is kept tidy), and there are always people gathering in the part. It is a great meeting space, and the lights at Christmas time make the area all the more special.

This is a beautiful shaded park with benches for sitting in the shade. On Saturday evenings there is usually a guitar singers or saxophone player. Very good entertainment and only asking for tips. However there are a lot of homeless people. (Mostly men taking up the benches or lying on the grass) doesn't give one a secure feeling. Occasionally see a street patrol but not enough
Definitely would not go alone or not with a group of women either.

The park in the middle of downtown Lakeland is the focus of many events catering to Lakelanders ranging from food to the arts. It seems like every two weeks there is an event that transforms this quiet space into a delightful mayhem of children and families. Now that the former focal point, the Confederate Monument, has been located to Veterans' Park, it is more attractive to a greater number of our diverse community.

I love the park. I am extremely disappointed that they removed the statue. I guess they plan on adding a carousel, that would be nice if it doesn't offend someone.

Mann park is a great place to meet and just talk. It’s also great to sit and relax and enjoy the beauty of the flowers in bloom or enjoy the cool crisp evenings. The area is clean and accommodating.

Munn Park is Lakeland's town square. There is a lot of shopping and local restaurant options around the square. There are some places to sit though often homeless people frequent the area. The day we were there most recently had a lot of dogs around. There was poop on the sidewalk which does make for an enjoyable walk. The Civil War statue is a really cool piece of history.

Free parking

Limited parking

Small park dedicated to a confederate soldier

Every bench was taken by a sleeping homeless person

I should have read reviews prior to visiting Munn Park, I wasn’t prepared for the confederate statue or the Lakeland homeless epidemic. I spent a few minutes at the park and promptly left.

No public restroom or drinking water fountain

This park is NOT ideal for children

Wheel chair accessible

This is a very nice park in the center of downtown Lakeland. There is a Confederate Monument honoring the Confederate War Dead in the center of the park. The park is lined with many interesting stores and delicious restaurants. There is also a street market on Saturdays nearby and plenty of free street parking. Nice area and Recommended
