We are photographers. While we have a studio with lighting and backdrops, many clients prefer a natural outdoor setting and Hollis Garden offers superb natural settings. We have done many shoots there and highly recommend it for anyone looking for a spot offering beautiful natural outdoor backdrops.

What a delightful place! The gardens are well designed and maintained, a real treat for the senses. A little surprise around every turn--a bird, a fragrance, a sculpture... And the music! Perfect!

This place is a treasure in downtown Small, exquisite and well kept with old established bamboo, a fish pond, fountains,s had areas, and even, (maybe best),classical music playing while you stroll, the unique touch that transforms it from brilliant to EXQUISITE!! Easy to find though less than ample parking and there's a child play zone right on opposite side of... More

The Gardens border Mirror Lake. While not a large botanic garden, it is beautiful and very tastefully arranged. It is very well maintained. One garden area utilizes colorful vegetable plants. There are very few signs that name the plants and that would be an excellent addition

Well manicured public gardens with wonderful lake vistas. The path around the lake creates a number of opportunities for gatherings an exercise. There are no picnicking areas [Bummer]. Great place for a wedding and photography.

Love this place. A formal garden, sculpture, a children's play area, a restaurant with delicious food, tropical trees, fountains, and a huge lake. They even had beautiful music in the garden. There is probably more I just haven't discovered it. This was our second time here and I still thoroughly enjoyed it. This place has something for everyone, from babies... More
