A natural setting in Florida with numerous birds, alligators and other wildlife. This is NOT a Zoo, no commercialization and its free. No fences, no bars, just you and Mother Nature. Miles of trails to explore thru marshes, wooded areas and along Lake Hancock. Great learning opportunity for young and old. Picnic facilities available. Open sunrise to sunset. Bring your... More

So, I was very surprised when we arrived at all the cars! I took a look at the people that were whizzing by us and I knew theses were not visitors , but locals! Please don't get the wrong idea : this is a wonderful tourist place to come 😁 However, it was so nice to see all the locals... More

Circle B Bar Reserve is 1200 Acre County Park with free attendance on the edge of Lake Hancock. Lake Hancock is known for its Alligators in their natural setting. With large dinosaurs roaming around the landscape and an element of danger in going there. It is not a place to take small children or pets. They have great walking paths.... More

Loved this place, just a simple couple of trails but very interesting scenery including seeing several alligator on alligator alley! The people at the visitor centre were really helpful and knowledgeable about which trial we should follow. You can make the hike as long or as short as you like as there are many different options.

I found this gem while geocaching one day (a few years ago). It was really nice to walk around. You might wear hiking shoes because the ground is rough (rocky in some places).

Hubby and I visited Circle B a few times, the most recent was on July 19, 2016. I like the see and photograph the great variety of birds. The birds do not seem shy around people. We both like to walk the trails. There is a nice visitor center and the trails are nicely maintained.

Be ready to walk if you wish to enjoy everything that Circle B Bar gas to offer. You will see so much wildlife in the form of birds and alligators! Be careful not to step off the trails to quickly as there are plenty of fire ant nests and it will make for an uncomfortable walk if bitten! Lots of... More

I accompanied my Mom on a tram tour with a group from a " senior" community. The guide was entertaining and knowledgeable. It was an amazing place to visit. Although my Mom is visually impaired, she was able to enjoy the tour because she could hear the birds, and the guide explained the history and the landscape so well. A... More
