Great place, great price
This place is great, still has the wonderful feeling of the old school drive ins. The price is great and well worth it. They do not overcharge like the other theaters. Concessions are fairly priced as well and dont have the...More
If you are looking for a small quaint flea market with produce to nuts and bolts, you might find it here. It is mostly new to you items but even when you don't have anything in mind, you will probably walk away with something.
It’s a typical flea market, mostly second hand stuff with a few stalls selling cleaning stuff and toiletries, plenty of produce and free parking. It starts early and finishes about 1 so get there early, worth a visit if you’re in the area.
We wanted to try something different during our holiday this year
We have never done a drive in.
We went on a Friday night and got to see 2 movies Halloween and Night School
We arrived about 45 minutes early and parked up with good...More
We visit the States quite regularly, and always try and see a movie whilst there. When we visit Orlando we have usually gone to the movie theatre at Disney Springs, but by chance we found the Silvermoon drive in

No frills old school drive in. Went on a weeknight and thought there were maybe half full. Lots of people left after first movie. Very reasonable admission and concessions. Maybe my only complaint was the parking. Wasn’t sure if you were supposed to park multiple...More
Don't know about the movies but I always enjoy the flea market there. The breakfast they were serving looked very good and I plan to try it on my next visit. Parking ok and restrooms useable. Lots of fun there.
Traveling to Tampa always try to make a stop at the Silvermoon Drive in. 5 bucks a head cant ever go wrong for first run movies.
Have a van so had to park in back but still a good view. brought lawn chairs and an...More
Has anyone been to the Silvermoon Drive-in? (7 Replies)
In our quest to find some "off the beaten track" activities while we are in Orlando I thought it might be nice to go to the Drive-In. My OH and daughter have never been to one (I don't think they were ever really a "thing" in England?) but I grew up in South Africa where our local Drive-In was a regular Saturday night entertainment and I'd love for them to experience that. The nearest drive-in to Orlando is the Silver Moon in Lakeland and I was just wondering if anyone has been and what...More

We have been a few times. It is at the edge of the publix warehousing and processing area which is huge. The directions tell you to look for the publix birthday cake - this is on the top of one of their warehousing buildings which you can see from a fair way away when it is light up. They have two screens showing different films - you can stay for the double bill showing on your screen which a number of cars did. They use a radio channel for the soundtrack so you listen to it via your car...More
