I am so glad that I took time out to take this safari tour. The hosts are inviting. Because of the season, I ended up having a one-on-one safari tour. I really appreciate how natural the environment is for all of the safari animals from African and Asia. It is amazing how close we were able to get to the... More

Who knew you could see African and Asian animals just a little North of Lakeland, Florida? My second time here. Staff is so knowledgeable and friendly, I'll be back again to take the camel safari. Worth every penny 😃😃

My Mom and I recently visited Safari Wilderness Ranch and we had an amazing time. She has always wanted to ride a camel, and at 80 years old the wonderful people at SWR made it happen. She got to ride Smokey, the lead camel, while Mike and Art accompanied her and explained about all the different animals that they have... More

I recently visited the Safari Wilderness Ranch with family and it was the highlight of our vacation! The vast variety of exotic animals, the beautiful landscape, and the friendly and knowledgeable tour guides made for a fantastic experience. And not only did we get to see all of these amazing animals, we got to touch them, too! We rode camels,... More

We drove from Tampa to Safari Wilderness following a cruise with my two granddaughters and my sister. It was all we expected and more. The variety of animals in their natural habitat was amazing! And, talk about up close and personal, I wish I could share some of the great photos we got from the safari bus. Water buffalo came... More

We were fortunate to be there the day the zebra was born, so very awesome to see it only hours after it was born. Feeding the water buffalo was amazing. I believe that Kathy was our guide, you could honestly see and feel the passion she has for the animals. Love this place and can't way to come again.

We really lucked out. We arrived for our 1:00 tour and were met by our guide JJ who informed us we were the only ones scheduled so we'd be getting a private tour. JJ was very knowledgeable about the animals. We rode around in an open air converted bus and she would tell us about the animals and we were... More

If you like animals to any degree this place will amaze you! Many types of African and Indian safari animals call this ranch home. The llamas and the ostriches were quite curious and entertaining animals. All animals are quite healthy and are happily roaming around the vast ranch. The staff here do an excellent job at upkeeping the place and... More
