Well, I've been to all of the Disney parks and have always wanted to see this place, Safari Wilderness Ranch because of billboards on the highway. After viewing their website, which itself seems pretty simple, I thought why not try it. I took my sister, brother in law, and their 3 teenagers and guess what - we all LOVED it!!... More

Yesterday we had the opportunity to visit Safari Wilderness in lakeland fl. Let me just say we had an awesome time. JJ was our tour guide and it was wonderful to see all the animals in there own environment. We got to feed the animals from the bus. JJ knew her stuff and you could see the animals were loved... I can not even begin to explain the exuberation that we felt sharing time with the lemurs and other animals. We went on the kayak tour, which I recommend. Our guide, JJ , was very enthusiastic and attentive. She knew we loved the lemurs and let us spend a lot of time with them while respecting their desires. The lemurs... More

The owners we friendly full of energy and excited to show their animals. Very organic and self sustaining farm. The Cows are the lawn mowers and grass feed cows are the healthiest. We drove up staying on the safari truck to hand feed the giraffes. Beautiful animals right in front of you. Kids are very welcome and our 8 year... More

To be honest, I have never been much into wild animals. So I agreed to take my wife and granddaughters (ages 6 and 4) to Safari Wilderness outside of Lakeland, Florida as a selfless act! Turns out all four of us had an outstanding time and I have now developed a deep appreciation. First, I was surprised about how remote... More

My husband and I have been exploring different parts of Florida and found Safari Wilderness Ranch on Trip Advisor. I made reservations and included add-ons like the lemur feeding (amazing and worth the money) a short camel ride which I surprised my husband with. He was adamant he wasn't doing it. I shamed him into it and he had a... More

Safari Wilderness Ranch has always been one of my favorite places to visit. The truck safari is a great way to see an overview of the ranch's heard wildlife. Today my niece, nephew and I chose to take the kayak encounter. Our knowledgeable guide gave us a personal tour to the lemur island. We were delighted to interact with these... More

I am so glad that I took time out to take this safari tour. The hosts are inviting. Because of the season, I ended up having a one-on-one safari tour. I really appreciate how natural the environment is for all of the safari animals from African and Asia. It is amazing how close we were able to get to the... More

Who knew you could see African and Asian animals just a little North of Lakeland, Florida? My second time here. Staff is so knowledgeable and friendly, I'll be back again to take the camel safari. Worth every penny 😃😃
